Samsung Evo 840 SSD

OK so I just bought an 840 EVO SSD. As it's currently unformatted and empty I assume that I only need to connect it and update its firmware, is that correct?

BSOD, instability, possible RAM problem

Hello! I'll try to keep it short and concise. I had a very stable PC for little under 2 years. Last Saturday during normal work my Chrome extensions started crashing - this to me is the first Very Bad Sign of something going on. Not long after that I had a BSOD - first since almost 2 years...

Onboard and discrete graphics

OK thanks for the replies. I don't even have Virtu installed, I've read enough negative opinions about it... And no I haven't tried disabling iGPU yet, will try it now.

Onboard and discrete graphics

I have a rather simple question - is there any point in having onboard Intel HD graphics chip enabled when using a discrete card? I'm using a Z77 board with 3570k CPU and I'm thinking of disabling it to save some power which I don't need.

Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 Owners Thread

Hi, I'm thinking of buying this motherboard and I'd like to ask which RAM sticks to buy. Asrock doesn't list voltages on their QVL list, unfortunately... Can someone recommend me good modules that he/she tested and that will work in 1.5v CL8 configuration? Thanks in advance.
