You could have gotten the Phenom IIx2 550 for about 60 dollars and unlocked the other 2 cores and with that mobo might have got 3.9ghz like my setup or at least 3.8ghz with no problem.Read the reveiws about this cpu at egg,good luck either way.

Ericboo,I have tried every slot with different ram and Im useing the two middle ones right now.The board reconizes the ram but sometimes when I run a application I get a low memory warning even though there is 256mb of ram in it.Do you think flashing the bios my help.Thanks
Whats interesting to me is my Asus P3V4X has the same problem with not being able to run but one stick of ram at a time.I wonder if I flashed the Bios it would fix it.Any help would be nice

I have the 5.1 X Gamer and it rocks.It comes with four full verion games,MDK2,DES EX,Theif 2,and Unreal Tournament.I think the games alone are worth 20 each so I dont think you can go wrong wth the X Gamer 5.1 card.JMHO :cool:
