I got a Kingston 4 port router, model KNR4TXDS (the one from B@y.com DOTD).
Unfortunately I do not have any software and/or manuals to it (was moving and got all these things lost) and so asking for help.
How do I enable/configure the serial port and an external dial-up modem (US-Robotics)...
It sounds stupid, but I need to know - you guys received a Staples $30 MIR coupon right? Just came back from Staples where manager kept telling me that the rebate is only $10 which is in the box and another $20 is the instant one.
I assume this is wrong, but need your confirmation. I am not new...
I have just installed the Hollywood+ hardware decoder with remote. Runs very stable and nice, but I think the text in Windows became less sharp and much darker (looks like printing with an inkjet on sh?tty paper very small fonts). If this is true, I will try to return/sell this card.

I have exactly the same problem - WinME won't restart. I think it must be something with the CUSL2 MB as I upgraded from Intel D815EEAL.
I have upgraded BIOS to version 1003, but still no change. Maybe I should install/uninstall some of that CUSL2 software that comes with the MB?

Got the printer, but must say I'm not really stunned with prints. My Epson 900 did not do much worse. Is it the Epson photo paper I was using or it's the printer. Are you all happy with it? Maybe Epson 870 is a better choice? Will buy some HP photopaper tonight.
It's the Platinum at Staples , not 5.1, however I'm sure they will get them soon. So far assuming even they would have this card and PM + coupon you will not get it much better than $135. B@y.com for me = no tax, Staples = tax.
Also, when you call, tell them the item number, don't ask them to search for it.

Most probably it's taken care of by the ATA100 controller.

Got a message everytime I start WinDVD that my DVD drive does not have the DMA set on.
Now I do not have an option box in drive settings to switch the DMA on. I assume it's done automaticaly through the ATA100 controller (on-board).
Am I missing something?

Looks like the same software, however, maybe I don't know, but it is a non-brand product to me. The software may be a "light" version and not the full supported on the Dazzle. I assume the card is just a PCI card and there should not be much differences.

50 pictures with one battery is a standard and I don't think you get any better than that. Try not to use the LCD and then amount of pics to be taken will increase.
I can't help you much in the $200 range, but if you can, I suggest get the Canon S100 / S10 from B@y.com. They're both at $398 -...
I suggest you buy the Dazzle card or DV-Studio. Both are complete sets - include a PCI card with Firewire connectors, firewire cable and editing software.
I tested the Dazzle card - bought at Walmart for $74 (on sale now). The DV-Studio can be had for approx. $100.
They both very easy to use...
