780ti or gtx970 wich better

When the Witcher 3 came out, I had a 780 Ti and my spouse had a 970. His 970 was blowing my 780 Ti out in performance, which was shocking to me. The extra vram along with Maxwell is just better to go with imo.

How Much of a Performance Increase from i7 3770k to i7 5820k

500GB + External drive vs 1TB Xbox One?

IGN did benchmarks with external drives a while ago here: IGN. I have a 3TB Western Digital external on my Xbox One and noticed Forza loads a little faster than before. Not to mention, going from 500GB to 3.5TB is pretty nice!

Nvidia Kepler performance driver fix released.

I have to admit, I was really annoyed seeing my 780 ti benchmarked to the performance of a 960. The updates made to the Witcher by the developer have really helped, though. Along with pushing my overclock even further. I do hope Nvidia gets this fixed ASAP though. Makes me question buying...

Absolutely. I built a system for my sister earlier this year and I got her a GTX 650 and it runs The Sims 3 beautifully at 1680x1050. If you don't game much, a GTX 650 Ti Boost should be plenty of power at that resolution.

If you're planning on overclocking, you should get a 3570k ($220) then. Should also get an aftermarket cooler like a 212+ ($30) or 212 Evo ($35) since Intel's cooler isn't good at all for overclocking.

2600K @ 5GHZ, How common is it really???

On my 2500k, I can hit 4.8Ghz with a vcore of 1.39 and LLC at high with max IBT temps of 78c and gaming temps of 50-60c, but above that and it takes too much voltage for my liking.

2500k OC Frustration

I use a M4E-Z motherboard, but for 4.8Ghz, I had to put the vcore to 1.39 and the LLC on high. I left all the C states on and it passed 8 hours of Prime and hasn't crashed yet (over a week so far). Could be the board and/or the CPU though.
