That's what happens when I run the benchmark and go AFK. This drop to 8mb/s was probably caused by something in the background, but shouldn't the transfer be steady even if I do something on my PC? I was downloading stuff on uTorrent everytime I ran the benchmark.

It all depends where you live. Here, in Poland, ST1000DM003 may be the best choice when you want a cheap and quite fast HDD.

Many people recommend this drive, so I didn't even look up WD drives. I heard many negative opinions about WD, but you know how it works. Not every product can be 100%...
So it can't work on Sata II normally? It runs SATA 3.0 GBps according to official site information.

i cant go any further than 286 mhz without any mods.. i turned memory flexibility on, i couldnt go even for 270 fsb with this option turned off.. damn
any tips? i set my ram to 533 mhz, and tightening ram timings didnt give anything, cpu-z shows fsb:dram 4:3 and the frequency is 215mhz, 3-3-3-9

can anyone tell how hd 4850 would perform on this mobo? i realized that there is a chance 6670 will underperform a lot, and decided to buy a Vertex3D HD 4850 GDDR5 256 bit.
