I wouldn't worry too much. I've been putting off getting a second 780 incase there were price cuts.
I'm getting a bit fed up with waiting though I might just pull the trigger this week. I can get another DCU2OC for £500 and I don't think that price is going to move much.
Has anyone done the switch? Did you notice much of a difference?
I'm about to make the switch. Is it worth it?
I play at 1440 and I like all the eye candy possible.
Are we thinking that 3GB will last 2 years as I'm worried it wont.
I know absolutely nothing about audio or headphones, very much a ludite.
I use Turtle Beach X31's at the moment which are designed for the xbox they were stupidly cheap so I thought what the hell. They are really comfortable and I do like them BUT I want something thats PC dedicated...
Thanks for the links.
According to one of those reviews the H100 is 20Db louder than mine!! my load temps with prime95 LargeFFT is between 59 and 61 which seems better than the h100 as well.
Looks like there is no point in me buying one really, it would just make my rig louder and hotter
I've never ever used water cooling but I've been fiddling a lot lately with fans/temps/voltages and delidded.
Although my temps are actually quite good I wonder if they would be better with something like a H100i.
I'm using a Thermalright True Spirit 140 with MX-4 which is a damn good...
I've got a Crossover 27Q and it's awesome. Went from 1200 TN to 1440 IPS and love every minute. No backlight bleeding and no dead/stuck pixels.
Totally worth the £265 and £50 import tax.
Woah, a heated debate.
My views are that I do prefer 60fps minimum with eye candy all over the placeif I can get it but the lure of a higher res is there.
I use a Syncmaster T260 atm, I really like it but I keep seeing posts on forums about 1440p being loads better than 1200p. Is it?
Also whats with these korean Yamakasi's. Anyone got one they can review for me. Any links for reputable sellers?
Any specific monitor suggestions?
Budget up to...
Hijacking my own thread slighty.
But I had a go with the autotune on Gigabytes ET6.
It buggered my bios and I eventually had to reset it but it slowly bumps up the multiplier and tests for stability to find your max usable clock speed.
This is what mine was!
Temps didn't go above 71 either...
I'm getting 101 Gflops in IBT, though my volts seem to less than anyone else i've seen. Also no WHEA errors.
Are they too low? 1.235 in bios but LLC pulls it to 2.212 under load.
I'm fully stable at 4.5GHz with 1.23v so I think its possible. I tried just bunging the multiplier upto 50 with my existing settings (which took hours to fine tune) but it crashed and corrupted my windows installation.
Don't want to risk it again unless I have some some more info on what...
Then go Here and follow the steps.
I just did it and it worked fine, gives you a key to put into Origin.
Can't download till 8am tomorrow morning though (UK)
