bad asian driver...

A lot of the bad Asian drivers in the US didn't actually drive in Asia. The bad ones are usually people that get their license @ 30's and 40's when they move to the US.

WTF, my parents are awesome!

My mom is a complete technophobe. Teaching her how to use a computer was painfull. Finally gave up and bought her a Ipad. She uses the Ipad 3-4 hours a day now.

Best Energy Efficient/Saving (GREEN) Surge protectors?

I use a Belkin F7C007 ($25). Its pretty handy. I use my computer as the control; it powers on/off my speakers, heated cat bed, monitor. I can hide the cables/surge protector behind my desk since I don't need to accesss the power switch.

When is the last time you took anything in for repair

Took my Panasonic microwave oven into a local repair shop last month. The repairs was under warranty so it was free. It took a month for them to get the replacement part from Panasonic and do the repair. I would just buy new microwave if I had to pay for the repair.
