I got the router locked up again, for some reason the only way to be able to access the set up again is if I restore the firmware

I just did it as I said but now a lost access to the Asus configuration page again. I have the asus connect to a pc with cable. I tried to access 192.168.1.1 and it stopped working I also tried with the new IP 10.0.1.201 but nothing I'm so lost

I'v being looking on Google all night and found some advice on how to setting up the Asus router as an Access Point, but I can't find anything about keeping the same SSID and being able to access the router set up and have both routers broadcasting exactly the same 5.0 AC signal I'm geting nuts

Advantages of Macbook pro?

I have the MacBook Pro Retina 15'' with 1 TB Flash SSD, I use Windows 7 with boot camp, and when I start the machine on Windows it loads in 3 seconds, works perfect, I don't really know if Windows 8 is faster, but 7 on the Mac is very fast.

Also for the channels I can select in the airport menu channel 1 for the 2.4 but for the 5.0 I can select 36, 40, 44, 48.... but not 1 I always connect with the 5.0 with most electronics (If they are compatible)

I know that for example with the fiber optic cables that travel across the oceans the use signal boosters between segments. Doesn't that exist for 2.4/5.0 Ghz signals? so 3ft cable a booster, another 3ft another booster and like that. Or a better cable
