For an IT company, it is important to have enough spacing to mount a Dell or Lenovo server. The racks we use are about 29.5 inches or about 75cm from the front cage nut holes to the back ones.
If you are offering enclosed racks, be sure to allow 6-8 inches or 15-20cm behind the rear cage nuts...
It is quite common to use a SonicWALL placed after the gateway router in bridge mode to provide only web content filtering. I do it all the time.
Comparing the two firewalls listed, they are about equal in capabilities. I haven't done SSLVPN on a Firebox so can't speak to that.

There were cat5 66 blocks in the past but this isn't one. Rated blocks had uneven spacing where each pair was closer then a larger gap then the next pair.
We use a LOT (HUNDREDS!) of the Digital Loggers Web Power Strips and PDUs. They allow remote access via HTTP and are scriptable. Biggest feature is AutoPing where we can set an IP to ping monitor and various parameters such as number of failures, ping attempt timing, etc and it will reboot...
