I went to BB and bought 2 of the +R. When I got to the register, one of the managers came over and told the cashier to give me a price adjustment from $14.99 down to $7.99 to match the ad price. I didn't say anything bc I thought she was confusing the price with the CD-R's which are in the...
I scored 10 5pks of these tonight in St. Louis Park, MN. They check out as Riteks 4x. Cheapest price with jewel case I could find 4x riteks is at cdrdvdrmedia for $1.46 for 50 plus $8 shipping comes to $1.62 each. These babys come out to be $1.27 each including tax, a savings of .35 per disc.
I just bought one but now I'm wondering if I made a mistake. PC Mall has the following deal:
Compaq Evo N1000V Pentium 4 2.0GHz
256MB DDR SDRAM
20GB SMART hard drive
DVD-ROM drive
56K Modem + NIC
14.1" TFT SXGA
Microsoft Windows XP Pro
Price $1099
This a bit heavier but is a P4 2GHz for...
bump for a great deal on a small notebook. Only downside is no floppy or CD drive. Oh well, get a firewire card cheap at tigerdirect and connect a firewire CD drive. This thing is only a little over 3 lbs.
Full size cases, not the slim kind. I ordered 200 and the shipping stayed at $5.20 for priority mail. This works out to be about .18 apiece.
Jewel Cases
I've had good success in dealing with simplybargains before.
I've had good luck with these systems when computergeeks had them. I've ordered ink carts from simplybargains before without any trouble. Only $8.55 for ups ground. I think these are better then the HP systems computergeeks is selling now.
Celeron 633 system
Bought one of these yesterday for $19.95 at Microcenter. Actually cheaper then the Buy.com price when you consider the shipping and tax. Mine did come with one click disc.
Where are the rebates located on the website? I click on the "free after rebate" symbol but nothing but a stupid message comes up. No rebate form.
This is a great car for a great price. the shipping is a little steep but buy 2 or three to make it worth while. I've purchase 6 of these babys. My kids go to birthday parties all the time and it makes a great gift. Why give some piece of sh**t when you can give something like this?

I got in on the Compusa Iomega deal so don't have a need for this but I think this is Hot. I believe from other posts that this is a rebagded Plextor with burnproof. From all reports, newegg.com seems legit.

Bubba. I burned a music CD with a full 80 min without a problem. I then burned close to 700MB data disc with DirectCD without a hitch. This drive definitely has no problems burning more than the 640mb 74min.
Bubba. I just used my 12x to burn an 80min PNY. No problem at all with the Extreme Cd software that came with the unit. Adaptec EasyCD Creator does not recognize the 12x Sony. Hopefully Adaptec will come out with an update.
Go to the Compusa and get your drive. The 12x will ring up at $199.99 at the register. The rebate is good for both the 10x and the 12x. I just did this deal and had no problem.
Just returned from Compusa with my 12x Sony Suppressa Burner. $200-$50 Rebate =$150. The 10x and the 12x are the same price. The store in Bloomington, MN had one left. You can check the inventory at the Compusa store near you by going to Compusa.com and putting in the SKU#276942:D
In the Sunday ad they have the 10x burner advertised for $150 after rebate. There are 2 different SKUs listed in the ad. I checked on the Compusa website and one of the SKUs #276942 comes up as the Sony Supressa 12x burner. I remember several months ago Compusa did the samething and I was able...
