Microsoft imaging and Photoshop 6.01 will crash while trying to access the scanner. It's an ACER Prisa USB 310u. I have the proper mira-scan drivers installed, and the scanner worked before I put it in the closet a month ago... and now it makes the programs crash. Any ideas for me?

I had the same problem with certain versions of the promise ultra ata100 controller on my A7V. I switched to a previous version, and everything was fine.
Here's my opinion:
Seagate = is suck, 9 out of 10 are D.O.A.
Maxtor = short life time, 2 years or so
IBM = haven't had the pleasure yet
WDC's = never had a failure, never had a problem.
Quantum = don't even go there.
Edit: Seagate SCSI drives are nice though... IDE is suck
um, it's nobody as far as I know. Just a default poser model with eccentric hair. Azraele: At first I was so enraged because I couldn't pose it how I wanted, so I read the helpfile. It gave me some ideas and enough info to actually use the interface.
You can alter facial features, but it would be hard to make a likeliness of a person. Maybe with a lot of practice or a tutorial, it can be done. Maybe Designdawg would know.
I only used photoshop to blacken the background and to make the cherry on the cigarrette. I looked in the help file for general information on the interface.
edit: my monitor is set darker than most peoples... so if it doesn't look right to you, just dim your screen a little
I'm going to buy a legit copy of HL in about 2 weeks, but I wanted to see how the gameplay would be on my cable modem. If you own the game, and don't play it anymore, would be please PM me the cd-key. Like I said, I will be buying it soon, but I wanted to try CS for a bit before.
