So, if my card never even comes close to 91c, would it make more sense for me to prioritize that over Power Limit? Or am I still going to be facing throttling either way?

Post your data backup strategy

None of my stuff is absolutely essential, but obviously I'd rather be able to easily recover than not. Thus, mine is very simple. Windows 7 backup once a week to an internal 500gb HDD. I create a system image of my c drive and a backup of my media drive

No doubt about it. I actually have a spare one at work that I will be taking home with me tomorrow. I've been meaning to take it home for a while now and just haven't. Probably could have saved myself a few bucks had I.

Thanks for the advice and replies everyone. It was indeed the PSU. I went to microcenter earlier and picked up a Corsair CX600. I'm completely back in business.

Ok so I actually had an old PSU lying around...it only has one 4 pin connector to the mobo as opposed to the 2 4 pin connectors my mobo requires. I just connected the 1 connector and obviously the 12 pin main connector, and it fired up a couple of my fans. I turned it off right away however...

Thanks for the reply. I'm just a little confused as to why the green light on the mobo turns on and off when the PSU is switched on and off. Would this indicate the the mobo is ok? I really hope its not the mobo. I'll have to go pick up a new PSU tomorrow and give it a whirl.

Updated my BIOS, still no luck. As for HWINFO64, its a nice program, but I'm not seeing it reporting Vcore anywhere. All I see is VID which is reading 1.336.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I actually just noticed there was an update for my Bios released last week. I'm going to flash it when I get home and see if that fixes my problem. If that doesn't work then I'll try out the software you guys suggested.

So I just installed an Asus Xonar DG sound card in my rig... Booted it up, and I got a warning that my Vcore was at .288. I figured it had something to do with drivers, so I installed the latest driver for it... After the driver install, I'm not getting any more warnings, but CPUZ and my Bios...

50 Mhz is the default speed that Precision X sets clocks to at idle.
