Needing a AP in home network. UAP-AC-Lite????

You need to have the UniFi controller setup and running continuously to make use of the features on the AP-AC series. I've done the setup on a small Linux server, but it can also be run on a Mac and Windows machine. Thanks to some of the default tools on the controller, I discovered 1 streaming...

Help with MB fans connectors and other little doubts

You can put a fan adapter on the H110 to go from 140 mm to 120 mm.

    Watercooling upgrade

There's no point in arguing over something that many people have strong opinions about. Simply you don't need those thick radiators unless you really want to show off thick radiators. Instead get a thinner one that your case can accommodate and use push/pull with GT AP-15's and a fan controller...

    Watercooling upgrade

I said 120 mm per component plus 120 mm for head room as a starting point or rule of thumb. If you're going to say my information is wrong, then I suggest you tell that to all the people in the water cooling section on OCN since that's where I get a lot of my information on how much rad space I...

Help with MB fans connectors and other little doubts

That GT is not a PWM fan. It's normal to see the fan not run at complete full capacity when connected to the motherboard. The GT in particular is going to be your best fan by far for cooling, especially when attached in water cooling setup to a radiator.

Help with MB fans connectors and other little doubts

You can split up the fans between the two fan headers if you want, that's not a problem. Where you will run into a problem is that the fan header itself can only support so many fans. There is a specification on the fan header that tells you how many amps (A) that the header can output. Your...

Visiontek CryoVenom 290 (EK block) In Antec 1100

First off I wouldn't use that Antec radiator in your case at all. The thing is made of aluminum which is definitely not going to play nice with the copper block portion of the GPU block. If you're just cooling the GPU, you really don't need a big reservoir or pump. I would look at this small...

Help with MB fans connectors and other little doubts

I would first get a PWM splitter like the Swiftech 8-Way PWM Cable Splitter so that you can connect multiple PWM fans to the CPU header on the motherboard. As for the BIOS setting, I would just leave it on auto to let the motherboard regulate the speed of the fan which is dependent on the...

Ghetto case mod / Building a shelf mod - suggestions & critique welcome

You could mount the components individually on a constructed wall behind your monitors with the wiring being routed behind the wall. I've seen a couple water cooled builds where all the components are separated out and the video cards are connected via risers to the motherboard. Even if you...

    Watercooling upgrade

Adding both of those radiators to your loop is frankly overkill. I've also seen 120 mm of rad space per component plus 120 mm for head room as a good metric. Also you will need to invest in GT's sooner rather than later given that it appears Scythe and Nidec have discontinued their relationship.

Logitech To Introduce New Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, the Logitech G710

Now all I want Logitech to do is release a mechanical version of their G13 gamepad. I have the Das Keyboard II and have no reason to switch to another keyboard.
