my suggestion is to focus on mobile development, its growing and getting bigger everyday, also vb.net is something you can pick up anytime and if you know good fundamentals in mobile development it can carry over to .net. hope this helps.
i used windows 8 on a headless dev box.. with visual studio 2010, and i love it.. RDP is smooth. I am a fan, the metro ui is a PIMA..however a easy tweak and that could be fixed. I think so far so good.
wow good thing, you tested the speeds. do you always test the drives after you install? or do you just look for functionality...what prompted you to test in the first place?
Is the whole life like vs film like settings these newer tv's have the new thing. I have several friends who have newer lcd's that had this like weird looking setting that makes me kinda nauseous everything is super bright and glossy is that the standard now a days. I am not to technical on tvs...
i thought they had this chip running xbmc already? i would love to know how that would work with indexing the movies and scrapping data from the different sources.. Maybe plex would be a better option for this chip since it offloads the db duties to server install of your choosing.
after reading these comments, I want to pick up one on sale..however reviews on newegg for cheap ssd's are not the best namely the OCZ and Kingston drives going on sale as of late. Which brands tend to be most reliable?
I agree with the previous comments.. having to buy addon software to make a OS usable seems silly. Microsoft should of given users an option, but hey this is meant to be tablet friendly so I guess you can't have it all.
