Home network and IE5.01 problem

Since I hooked up my home network one of the three computers has begun not letting me access the internet options under Tools in IE 5.01. When I click the Tools menu then Internet Options it tells me it has canceled the action because of restrictions in place and to contact the administrator...

Why won't my RAM run at 3-3-3???

I recently tried to change my RAM settings to 3-3-3 from the current 2-2-2. When I attempt to reboot it hangs up and tells me it can't find/load NTKERN. When I change it back to 2-2-2 it boots fine. What could be causing this and what is NTKERN? My system has a BX133 mobo with a new Celeron II...

How many miles between oil changes?

3-4000 miles is the norm even if you use synthtic oil...which is a good idea. The purpose is to remove the suspended particles that build up in the oil over this period of time. Also, never put additives in an engine or any other part of the car. It causes more harm than any benifits it claims...

Installing Win98SE full version over old Win98?

I currently have Win98, the first version, and I want to install Win98SE. The problem is that I only have the full version of SE. When I try to run install I'm told I have to use the SE upgrade version. Is there any way to install it using my full version software? Also, I have the full version...

IE 5.5 question...

I just upgraded to IE 5.5, from 5.01, using the Microsoft CD-ROM. Now I can only open a maximum of 2 windows using the right-click, "Open frame in new window" command. I can open as amny as I want using the Ctrl-N command though. Is this a known issue or is there just something...

ABIT BX133-RAID thermal sensor questions

First, are the temp sensors for the CPU and case built into the mobo because I get temp readings from both the CPU and the SYS1 (case?) monitors in the BIOS and with the included Motherboard Rx software. Both of these temps seem right on to me (about 33-35C for the CPU and 25-29C for the case)...

Where to get older nvidea detonators?

I used to know a site that carried all the detonators but, I can't remember what it was. Can anyone help. I think the ones I want were 5.11?? Not sure of the numbers. The lastest release on the nvidea site is causing me some problems and I lost the old set. Thanks...Mike S
