I got one with bad pixels, called NM-select, after I was given three different 1-800 numbers, finally I reached a department which supposed to handle my case. The CSR took the call was very unhelpful, he just not willing to help me. Of course the result is they can't do anything about it...

Sharp Minidisc player/recorder for $99 shipped.

I just look over the menu, and couldn't find how to connect it through USB if want to record it in real time. It has Analog in and Digital in, if using PC, guess it can only use sound card's line-out port, dunt know how the sound quality turns out to be.

Question about GT133KT (overstock) motherboard

I installed windows 2000 on GT133KT (overstock deal) T-bird 950 machine, and i did install VIA 4in1 driver after that, but the system is very unstable, when I run DVD movie, record voice using sound card, sometimes even installing software, the system stuck here, frozen. I dont know what's...

Partition information disappeared!

I did it long time ago, you may need to boot using your DOS Boot disk into dos, then use command FDISK / MBR to restore master boot table. You may need to double check this to see if it is correct command, and backup your important data before doing this. This is a dangeous operation.

Most possible proble is the load information in Master Table lost, after you restore that table, it should be fine.

Should I abandon Win98?? Go with Win2K as Primary??

I agree, switch to NT-based Win2K if possible. Bare win98 may not crush, but after some more software and hardware, it may crush several time everyday.
