Dual processor error

We had a Dual processor motherboard in one of our servers and decided to fill up the other slot. When we placed in the processor everything seemed to work for awhile but then it came up with an error saying they were not a matched pair. What am I missing here? They are both Pentium III 933's.

Seti interfering with Automatic Updates

Since there are 400 machines running Seti I cant turn it off each time I want to update and I cant go to each of the 400 machines and manually update. In the future I will be setting up a ZenWorks server with Patchlink software to automate and centralize updates but until then AutoUpdates are...

Seti interfering with Automatic Updates

While the Seti Client is running Automatic Updates will not download and install updates on Windows XP with Service Pack 2. Anyone else have this issue and have a fix for it?

OT: We've got a meteor shower coming up...

Incedently August 12th is a national holiday, it is in fact why the perseids meteor shower come on that day. This year will be the 33rd annual celebration. I refer to the day as My Birthday :)

BOINC question

Havent tested with Boinc but numerous test have been done with the Seti Classic and there is no reason to believe that the transition to Boinc is going to change that effect. But for Shoots and giggles I will try that out now. I currently run 1 WU in ~ 2:53 with Graphics it takes : (in...

BOINC question

There is a huge hit on performance and it doesnt have to do with the rendering speed of your graphics card. Any real time output to your screen with gui drastically reduces its effeciency.

LOL I just found out that you can see who is holding you up from getting credited. Mr. O in U.S. Distributed is holding me up from getting my points credited!! Perhaps I should Email him and tell him to quick playing Rainbowsix 3? To view what is holding up your credits go to your account...

OT: Looking for a car.

If you can find an old 87-92 Honda CRX, they make great college cars, the HF gets 40+mpg and they are sporty looking. However they are kinda becoming collectors Items so they may be hard to find. If you do find one they usually go for about 3k and honda's last forever.

Lost my job today

Actually I put in my two week notice, two weeks ago, so it was entirely expected :) Thanks for the grats all, I am pretty excited to get to spend a few weeks with my new baby and have some quality chill time! Wonder if they do burn-ins with there new setups ;), I hear SoB makes a great burn in tool

I want to build a dual processor system and would like some input on what a good setup for the least amount would be? I already have a Barton 2500@2100Mhz and 1 gig of pc 2700 ddr. I am considering getting a Rapter 74gig to spice up the new rig as well. As I see It I have 2 options: AMD...

SB problem

My 24 hour user rate is now at 100cems/sec It should be at the very least 700+cems/sec as I have not used both my p3 800 or my Barton 2500 @ 2200. So why now is my 24 hour rate say 100 cems? (not even counting my p4 2.66ghz laptop.

SB problem

As you can see by looking at my stats page, my numbers use to move up and down (like when I take my laptop to work), but after I turned off the transmit int blocks it took a big dive and never came back up.
