You got it wrong, so did DSO. It's about buffer_storage, bindless , storage buffer object (and some indirect multi draw).
For Win/Dx side, there's nothing noted yet. They've inspired from bindless and implementation is mostly about sparse tex / bindless (tiled resourced kinda thing) for now...

For Compute Tests, Why the Anand just took the lowest numbers for DGEMM and SGEMM tests on 7970?
The PDF they've pointed out says :
SGEMM : 2646 GFLOP
DGEMM : 848 GFLOP
Yet Anand review took the lowest numbers as:
SGEMM : 2382 GFLOP
DGEMM : 689 GFLOP
any idea??

As far as i know z2760 is limited to 2gb RAM support and tablets will be delivered via 2gb of ram. So i wonder, if this 2gb support is some kinda hw limited issue where os can adress up to just 2 gb and never let use more of under any circumstance cuz of hw underlying it? Or if there may be...
