Wireless Network Adapter & Router Suggestions?

Ah well the reason I ask is because we currently own that D-Link router. But our connection just drops at random lots of times. Not sure if its the isp or the router itself. Something is odd though, that's one of the reasons I was looking at potential new routers.

That's what I was thinking as well. That if I were to go with AMD, I'd pick the Sapphire 7070 Dual-X like you suggested. Even though the poll is clearly one sided, I still feel like I'm somewhat partial towards Nvidia. That a bad thing? :awe:

It isn't really an issue, I just liked that feature because then the heatsink itself won't hang over the RAM as much. It has the same cooling capabilities as that of the D14 as well and both are equally priced give or take a few dollars.

Why not Powerline rather than a card? I thought the video showed the clear advantage in it over a wireless connection. Plus it just seems more convenient. No drivers are needed unlike a pci-e network card. Is there some disadvantage I'm unaware of?

True, but it does appeal a bit more than putting a pci-e network adapter into your computer. At least for me, that is kind of annoying as it takes up space. So, you don't recommend Powerline then?

Just want to confirm something, but say in the future I did go sli/crossfire. Would a 650W PSU be enough to handle that or is it safer to go with the 750W PSU in that case? And there are two versions of the 7970 on Newegg. The regular and Ghz Version. Should I go for the regular version?

Anyone else still running Core 2?

Still running an E8400 @ 3.8 GHz. Gets the job done, but I'm more of a multi tasker now. I think I'll benefit going to a quad core processor.
