It is connected with another computer with a crossover cable. There are no mapped network drives if that is why you were asking just sharing a printer and for playing games.

How can you tell if your IDE controller is limited by the 137 GB barrier? Are only SATA controllers capable of using drives larger than 137 GB? I have an Abit KR7A-133R and was thinking of getting a 160 or 180 GB HD but if I can only use 137GB of it I will just stick to 120GB. **THANKS...

Failure to post

My Moms comp was working fine then all of a sudden failed to post. When power is turned on the fans would run but no video output to the monitor. I removed all components except video card ram and cpu but still no post. I tried each of these components in another system and they all worked fine...

cd roms are not showing up

Older versions of EZCD and Nero will cause this in Windows XP. It happened to me with Nero. You can install an update patch to make the CD burner software compatable or you can use system restore to go back to a time when your drives were accesible. D
