Buying a Refrigerator...

I'll give you that. Each have their benefits. We have the same top shelf arrangement in the freezer. I don't really like how the sliding top shelf works on ours. But I'd rather deal with that situation, than our old side by side where every time I tried to dig something out of the freezer...

NCIX just opened, so I gave them a call. Evidently this sort of thing happens sometimes and you just need to place the order, then call in and they will remove the shipping. It's definitly worth double checking your final invoice, I'm sure more than a few people have had this happen to them...

The orders I tried were around $300 and $200, I did see that fine print. It could be a border thing, but they showed inventory in their US warehouses. I'd assume that's where they ship from. IIRC, I thought I saw something in the fine print about free shipping only good for metro areas...

Gas furnace question - don't know where to ask?

Our water heater did the same thing and it was the flame sensor. Is there a blinking code light going? It should help you narrow down the issue. When our water heater did it, we simply had to rub the sensor down with a scotchbrite pad to get the oxidation off and it would be good for another...
