Freaking love these monitors... Eyefinity on them is just crazy!
A couple of months ago I had the same setup as Karl (the Samsung u28 and two koreans) and it fits my needs perfectly.
However, had a friend come in recenetly and literally steal the u28 (he forked the cash) and so was let out in the rain and substituted a normal Qnix.
Had the upgrade itch and...
Had a Qnix 320QHD the last couple of days.
Current lineup is a 2xQnix 27in with a 4k Samsung u28d590.
Its gonna be sold since the 32 is great and I might go triple 32s.
Well I got the setup and with three 290x @1150mhz I am getting around 50-80 fps at 7680x1440.
The fourth 290x while giving out about an extra 5 fps is creating min fps spikes.

With 4k monitors flooding the market many of us with multi-monitor screens are debating the switch to a single 4k gaming screen.
This gives us the pixel fix. However, most are not willing to sacrifice eyefinity or surround gaming for it...
Here is a middle ground for those...

Seriously that sammy screen is hard to forget.
Had a customer buy it with profit off me and I decided to wait for a couple of months until the seiki 32in 4k comes and get three of them for glorious eyefinity at 12k.
That the plan at least.... Couldn't wait 2 weeks and I ordered a new sammy...
Game in eyefinity when a game supports it. Game in 4k when it doesn't.
Best of two worlds! Not to mention input lag is much lower on the sammy :p

Tried these with my quadfire+eyefinity setup... same as the rest of the 14.x branch.. major shutdowns and BSODs... Tried going back to 13.12 but had to do a fresh install of windows to fix it.
If you have quadfire+eyefinity stay away from this driver like the plague.

Best purchase I did this last year was that 4k screen... Eyefinity works awesome with it on 1440 with my two qnix screens and I bet that it being a matte and a middle screen it will be more awesome then the previous glossy...
It's a single tile panel... It's electronics can handle a 4k resolution with no MST.... so... it can scale down with no problems :sneaky:

Okay initial testing on BF4.... Zero crashes on quadfire. Let me repeat... Zero crashes on quadfire.
I am loving it more then usual too... the faster response time on the middle screen is a big bonus compared to my original IPS panels.
You need to test it by yourself to see if it will fit ya...
While that thread gives out an indication on the performance of eyefinity 4k... the connections on the 290x are the limiting factor... You can only have one screen and at most two with 60 fps.
I am pretty happy with the sammy... excellent response time and games are pretty good.
Colors are a bit washed but it is worth the upgrade for the pixel density... I am at the point where I am conteplating getting another two sammies and get a 295x2 for dp ports for 4k eyefinity!
Have the panel:
1.Plug And Play... no drivers what so ever.
2.Screen size is PERFECT for a desktop power user. Tried 32... too big!
3.Very minimal input lag!
4.Coating is comparable to the Qnix-X-Star Screens.. Not aggressive and very mild.
5.Screen quality is excellent.

Had two fun days playing with my U28D590 Sammy 4k.... WORTH IT SWITCH NOW.
Have one 1440 for general use and that sweet baby as my main gaming rig... major highlights (Will be copying it from the main thread on OCN):
1.Plug And Play... no drivers what so ever...
My seller for the 34UM95 gave me the slip and started delying the order... last time he gave me the "what?" response of no time frame for shipping... went to paypal and took my money back from.
Went over to ebay and ordered one of the new Samsung 4k 28in TN screens (Reviews are going mad over...
Oh karlitos.... Fired up BF4 today for a quick game... Third screen died on me... Tried again... again it died on me... went.. WT?
Tried 3 different adapters (one even with the old firmware) and they all died on me... Switched to trifire and everything went smooth as butter... Seriously...
Well.. I didn't have your problem karlitos... but now I do!
Started after installing the 14.3 drivers... no game would run what so ever on eyefinity... then I installed 13.12 and still the same issue... disabled one gpu and VOLA IT WORKED!
