Looking to get into pc gaming

I felt the same apprehension about switching back to keyboard and mouse when I got back into PC gaming. But, I recently tried to play some xbox with my friends and the controls now feel like a joke.

M-ITX Caselabs S3 soon to be released. Looks interesting.

It's very short, but I think its definitely worth it if you like adventure/story type games (not a ton of actual gameplay). The story is good, appealed to my sensitive side :P, I recommend it.

Senior Pictures?

I guess it kind of depends on the school. At Texas A&M class rings are surrounded by tons of tradition, pretty much everyone gets one, and most wear it. So I have the ring, but no pictures or anything except for family junk.

PC Headset Recommendation

I would just buy a high quality pair of studio/audiophile headphones and then use a clip-on or boom mic. Gaming headsets are mostly overpriced for what you get, and in most instances you can get a pair of headphones that offer greatly improved sound quality at the same price point. I don't know...

Will this be a good gamin pc build?

I would buy a new monitor if I were you, you can get a much nicer one than that for very little money these days. I didn't think it would be hugely noticeable, but my monitor upgrade quickly became my favorite purchase last time I put together a pc.

Gigabyte Gtx 670 or 7970?

Yeah, I play all games at 2560x1600 with a single 7970, It's a pretty beastly card, you won't be disappointed if you go that route.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Gaming Build

I actually run a single 7970 with a small OC at 2560x1600, and I love it. Farcry 3 is pretty much the first game I've played that the card couldn't handle at max settings. Still, I am able to almost max everything, and the game looks amazing. 7970 highly recommended. Edit: I also have a Zalman...

Lian Li PC-Q11 or Silverstone SG05?

I haven't built a mITX yet, but my main build is in a Silverstone TJ08-e (mATX case). The build quality, noise levels, and cooling are excellent with my Silverstone, but I have heard good things about Lian Li as well.

Laser mouse cursor movement ragged - proper mouse pad??

I have a similar wireless notebook mouse and I hate it, for the same reasons. However, I've had decent luck with a plain, black, cloth mousepad. See if you can mess with the polling rate, etc, in the settings, maybe get a little improvement that way.

Need help with my first build!

Good looking build, mine is quite similar, but mATX w/ a 7970. I don't know if I'd recommend the H80, I have the nocturna NH-D14 and I love it, it's quiet and keeps everything nice and cool. It's 80 bucks at newegg right now. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835608018

Looking for some game suggestions - Terrariaesque, Shadowrunnerish, X-Comish

You might like Spelunky if you haven't already tried it. Also, keep an eye on darkout or maybe even try the beta, it seems terrarialike.
