i got my tax return :biggrin: so lol ...getting the itch to cram something new in my pc....
i built it last year around same time....specs are below..
i know i need to get another 8gb stick only have one so im not running dual chan....ram was 50$ when i got it last year same stick is like...
Open catalyst control center....go to performance tab then click amd overdrive.....the for the power control setting put it to 20% then slide your core to 1ghz....shou d be able to hit at least 1100 core and 1300 on mem but all u want is 1ghz so just use ccc to o/c
for beta it's not bad the rig in my sig plays it at 1080p ultra everything maxed... rarely dips below 45 ...50-60fps normally
but even so it does have a slight slug feel to it....but im not using latest beta drivers from ati so idk if there a big help or if win7 isn't as "optimized" as win...
i have an AOC 23'' 1080p and that monitor is so awsome....looks great!....AOC is a very well made brand who has been around for years i think there the one's who make alot of the high end brands they just rename from AOC.... anyway there nicely priced....and idk about the model u posted url...
i have a HIS hd4670 1gb ddr 3 agp card in my older socket A Athlon 3000+ it plays call of duty 4 max settings around 30-40fps lol get one of those i dunno how much they are now...prolly cheap....think it is the fastest agp card u can buy...

The rig my sig was around 960$ or so and would play that game max settings....maybe get a 7970 since there cheap now......im on my phone at lunch so cant really do all the part links n stuff for a nice build atm....maybe get haswell i5 tho.... Ivy is fine too...and lil cheaper....
my 7950 plays bioshock at 1080p ultra everything maxed....and i avg 134fps...... i only seen it dip to 80fps maybe a few times....bioshock is very well made...i just finished it last night....great game...

well i know when i maxed ccc settings and maxed in game settings it brung my pc to a stand still in the newest medal of honor was getting like 12fps haha with ccc norm and game on ultra i was getting 80-100fps.... so i would keep ccc normal default and just max in game settings might not be...

My sig pc plays....crysis 3 ...new bioshock...any new game at 1080p max/ultra settings with pretty much always over 60fps bioshock I get up to 200fps in benchmark....only game I cant use msaa 8x is crysis 3 I use 2x but anyway pc will always be better cuz u can always upgrade etc....if ur a kid...
U can always upgrade graphics card in few years with pc to keep maxing current games while new xbox ur stuck with for 10 years...pc is always better but alot of people dont apreciate the better quality of pc gaming :(
lol needs black pcb...my 7950 is close...dark blue my mobo is black so would have been nice i guess....i remember how much i loved the red pcb of my 9800pro 128mb lol..my mobo was a red msi at the time...lol it's makes the case look nice when they match.. :biggrin:

there cards are amazing ...cooling is off the charts my card overclocks very well and i've used HIS for prolly 7 years now or so all the pc's i put them in ran 24/7 never had any issue's....my 7950 runs crysis 3 like a beast 7970 is prolly gonna rock ;)
well i got it working again....but can mbr95 only go but so fast? maybe i just need to reset and do speed tests again ..connection is norm 24mb/s.... with router was like 3mb/s or w/e download... idk either way i got it...
i did reset button on back ....that didn't do anything it's still on current driver.... i guess the instructions i found prolly year ago where copied from cradlepoint tech support and all traces have been removed i can't find crap on this router other than offical pages....the instruction i had...
ugh ya i got it...it's working.... now this.....i turn my wi-fi on my phone connects i'm like good i disconnect real quick ....and i'm like crap let me stay connected so i can test it ....what do u know now my wifi light is on but it's "disconnected" i need to do a hard reset this has happened...
well i had it hooked up right it only worked for a sec tho...then red x over network conection icon....i got home few mins ago removed my modem from xbox/living room them plugged it back here into pc and the router and it's staying connected now....plug n play like it should....but the pc...
hi i have the cradlepoint mbr95 router and when i plug my cable modem into it.. it works for a sec then stops and lil computer in corner of desktop gets red x and says cannot connect to internet in borwser.... it's a motorolla surfboard modem maybe an ip conflict? tryin to figure it out >_<
i would get a HIS HD7970 there freakin awsome cards in my opinion and run very cool.....
there liked on these forums but not referred much....dunno why there unlocked and overclock great :)
also the 7950 overclocks to 7970 levels/speed so maybe get one of those and spend remaing on new game...
it dont get real loud untill 65% or so at 80% it's pretty loud i guess i dont mind tho......it's a very quiet card as long as u don't got 80 or higher i have high end speakers so no prob here :) they have db level reviews around...
really well i can runn 1200core 1500 mem on benchmarks and get great results.... but i run the card at the clock in my sig 24/7 highest temp i seen was during crysis3 i hit 70c with game maxed out....fan was prolly 70% range very intensive game...
idle temps around 29c 32 c ..... every card is...
here is another HIS option few more dollars....nice card as well HIS has been my fav for awhile and never let me down once :)
