TJG, many if you want to improve, especially in bronze, my best advice would be either 1 of 2 things. #1 being simply keep playing normals until you find a champ you can carry EVERY single game, regardless how bad the game may be going or #2... Duo with someone that can help carry you out.

And time running across the entire map costs you hours of your life :D
It's not a horrible game, especially as a survival sim, it will just get a lot better once it's out of it's current Alpha state and starts adding items, vehicles, and shitloads more zombies.
This would be all the rage for a new Deer Hunter :P
I know it's corny but I can see this working VERY well for a kid's game wherein the main character is an animal. Oooooor perhaps a new Conkers Bad Fur Day?
While I certainly like the looks of G-Sync, a software based alternative might not be a bad direction. Some people on here need to chill. Innovation comes in many forms and most, if not all, start small somewhere. FreeSync is interesting and from the demo at CES it wasn't that impressive or...
First things first, don't stick any body part in the water ;D
But on a more serious second, definitely look at the XSPC Raystorm D5 kits as viable watercooling kits (Specifically RX/AX). If I were looking at a kit at this current time the Raystorm D5 Photon kit would have my full attention.
At the very least the rest of your equipment is ok.
blastingcap, ASUS recently got rid of their BBB "F" Rating in place of an "A" rating, how I do not know.... But it's possible they have started taking care of those RMA issues, I'm unsure.
I like ASUS, but have to hand it to ASRock for putting out quality boards that overclock just as well, if not better than much higher priced boards.
But have you taken a look at the MSI MPower Z77? A very good board for the price
Yep, just upgrade the video card and enjoy your games. It's not a money pit if you set yourself up with a higher end setup to start with, that way at least it lasts a while and possibly only need to later on upgrade video. Then again, you could upgrade every year or so and it gets pricey xD
The reason behind the lag I would say is easily due to the video card you have. Have you taken a look at the 650 or 660 ti? Or maybe an AMD equivalent.
Also, personally I would get rid of that Razer software along with the "TCP Optimizer".
Item link
The item's LGA is simply 1155, meaning it will work with LGA 1155 size Sandybridge and Ivybridge processors.
Do you need any other insight that worries you before your purchase?
What cpu would you be using with this board?
I also agree with the Seasonic X650, also I would look at the Corsair 650 or 750 TX/HX. Majority of Corsair are Seasonic OEM/CWT, so you can't go wrong. JonnyGuru is your friend for PSU reviews
Also I know you've already tried 2 HDMI cables, perhaps a 3rd? Or verify the 2 are working via Bluray player, PS3, HD Receiver, etc.? Maybe also the HDMI ports on the tv, verify those are working properly.
Simply put, for the price, the ASRock Extreme4 Z77 is a damn great board. Overclocking glory on the cheap, what more can you ask for, outside of a shiny ASUS, Gigabyte, etc, badge on it :O
Thank you thank you, I've been more a lurker here with being more activity on Overclockers.com :P
We'll see what Haswell holds, we have all this new tech coming around, the GTX 780 from nVidia, then nVidia's release of the GTX Titan, soooo much niceness coming!
As mentioned Haswell is right around the corner, may best off wait for that to either see prices drop on Sandy/Ivy or hop on the new Haswell.
Was mentioned as "game changing" though, from what I was previously reading it will bring in only a small improvement over Ivy, of course I could be...
