priorities shift at tsmc and a larger partner takes more wafers/fab space-time...
I checked out the nice looking hp envy at bestbuy, single channel confirmed, its actually running at 933MHz(1866MHz effective) ddr4. Also the chassis was too thin for 20W+,so we are in for another round of crap...sigh.
Context is that there is a path tracer written into a shader connected to the idtech engine. The engine is ancient but the realtime path tracer is where the excitement is at.
