As others have said the 28mpg is misleading.
Here in TX, diesel runs 20% to 30% more then regular unleaded. So assuming 20% extra diesel cost the 28 diesel mpg is equivalent to a 23 mpg gas engine. That's nothing special.
This diesel merely matches the current 3.5L ecoboost in torque and...
Skyking's math yields the same answer as your method:
yours>28 mpg*.85=23.8 mpg for the diesel motor adjusted for price premium of diesel
his> 28 mpg - (28 mpg * .15)= 23.8 mpg for the diesel motor
Actually here in TX diesel is always at least 20% more expensive than gas.
The 23.8 price...
Here's an educated guess that the 2.7 will yield 26mpg.

Could it match the Dodge diesel at 28mpg when the 9 and 10 speed transmissions come online? The diesel is a $3,000 upcharge while the 2.7...
Aluminum gets the headlines but the frame improvements are just as significant IMO
Ford actually increased the use of high-strength steel from 23% to 77% in its F-150 frame -- making the backbone of the truck just as durable as ever. The high-strength, military-grade aluminum can be found...
I suspect the GT350 has arisen due to the planned weight reduction for the new Mustang which would present the perfect opportunity to drop down in power (and price) from the GT500
But many have doubted the rumored 200 to 300 lb weight reduction since Ford was completely silent about weight...
So is the GT500 662HP 5.8 liter engine history?

If the GT350 assumes the mantle at the top of the Mustang lineup then will we ever see this beast of a motor available again.
If not, R.I.P. :(
love the passion this category of car generates :) I hope they stick around a long time
Fact about v6 Challengers: only recently have they sold more v6 versions than v8; 25% in 2009 43% in 2010 47% in 2011 52% in 2012
Each year they sell a bigger % of V6 cars
I'm guessing people...
^^ agree
Anywhere on the flyer/ad does it say "valid at participating stores"?
I would think they would have to honor the ad unless Microcenter franchises some of their stores and even then I believe they have to put the disclaimer "valid at participating locations" in the ad.
perhaps this is the mystery OEM option; choose SRA or IRS

Moving violations of the law is the responsibility of the driver not the manufacturer.
Going above the speed limit is illegal too but yet every manufacturer makes a car capable of breaking the law.
Ford has stated that the never before offered feature will appeal to the "kid" in us. I think a...
Ford has something else up its sleeve on an undisclosed feature to be revealed later. It will be a feature never offered from an OEM before.
Some have said it will be a burnout assist feature. Perhaps a poor man's line lock type feature...

Besides the local furniture stores, where else is a good place for a small couch? TV stand?
You might try Big Lots; they have some decent furniture. Good thing about furniture is that you can inspect it thoroughly before buying. Big Lots has some promotion 3 or 4 times per year where...

good CPU for those that got the recent $28 MSI H81 MB
Not quite a match for the recent Fry's $49 but Fry's was in store pickup so after gas + sales tax the total cost is close.
I believe Amazon matched this price
same for me ^^
in my dream world: a smoking deal on one of the new 4k TVs; I saw one at Frys a couple of weeks back and there was a more noticeable difference over 1080 than I expected
Jeez, I don't think I would even bother getting an aftermarket unit if the final production vehicle sounds like this. Very impressive
