cliffnotes: A woman has been found to have 2 different sets of DNA in her. This was caused by 2 embryos joining to make 1 embryo.
discuss ramifications on:
1. if an embryo has a soul then that makes what 2 souls in 1 person?
2. changes to the embryo = human life argument from...
Honestly, I think its a very bad idea unless implemented securely. The benefits of having something that is convinient doesn't out wieght any of the downsides to having your car, money, or identity stolen.
I wouldn't mind a female president. I don't think the rest of the country is that open minded.
Kennedy was the last CATHOLIC president. If we have issues electing a white male who is not protestant how tolerant do you think the US will be of a female. The answer is not very.
the commentary on the mexio v iran game was worse
they kept bringing up the politics of iran and the US and the nuclear program....its a friken football game why the hell are they talking about politics?
but ya even if we do make out of the group in 2nd place we're royally screwed.

In Colorado, Subaru is not so much a cult following as a necessity to get up hills in snow.
Subaru sells tons of cars in cold and snowy areas. I personally think they would be shooting themselves in the foot if they got rid of subaru.
the toshiba plasma 50" 50hp66 is around 2,400 online and ~3,300 in best buy.
Pricegrabber for the toshiba
I liked the look of the DLPs but the viewing angle on most of them wasn't that great. Plus im not sure I would ever really use 1080p.
If I got the toshiba from a local store thats...
Hey I'm in the market for a new TV and I was specifically looking at the toshiba 50" 50hp66 and I was wondering what you guys thought about buying them online at hundreds less or buying it in a local store. Also extended warranty...good idea or bad idea?
I live at 5,300 feet and plasmas seem...
I would have to say that medicines and welfare (etc.) are probably keeping some people alive that would have otherwise died and left the gene pool. Though I'm sure medicine has kept some people alive that aren't necessarily a detriment to the gene pool because in this day and age we don't have...
hysperion I believe his point is that using strict interpretations or interpretations that take history of the time period into account are quite often a bad way of looking at the constitution. His point might be that marriage was not enumerated in the constitution to be between a man and a...
Yea I was noting the oddity of this earlier to some friends. I don't think they were over stepping their bounds considering he did do something illegal and they got a warrant for the search. Just because they are congress people they shouldn't be protected from criminal acts...democrat or...
Because gays are not considered a 'suspect class' (a group of people who are recognized by the SC as being historically discriminated against and thus deserve better protections)
This means that there is a lower level of scrutiny in SC cases and would make it harder to declare this type of...
definte no
the white house admitted in a press conference going outside of the law by presidential order to combat terrorism with wire taps...if you look in article 2 of the constitution it basically says the president can't do that sort of thing without congressional approval....
so i think...
a pretty good BBC documentary explains that in more detail its called "Root of All Evil?" by Richard Dawkins (a famous anti-theist)
edit: im tired and can't type
I whole heartedly agree
edit: Great example of a form of control.... kosher foods
they were said to be bad back then because people couldn't always prepare the food right and would get sick. Today that is not really a concern but people still follow it even though those foods can be...
First off, you are assuming that everyone shoots fast paced events which a person would have no control over. In situations such as fashion, portrait, architectural and many others, professionals quite often use prime because of the quality. Yes, I understand if you are shooting something like...
...because complaining thats its too difficult to change a lens on a SLR is ridiculous. The point of an SLR is to have full control over the camera including the ability to change lenses.
I also think it makes someone a "wussy bish" because I have never heard anyone who is serious about...
I just did a HUGE paper on this for my senior poly sci civil liberties and rights class
basically they are using the logic of pen registers to collect the phone numbers dialed the supreme court said this does not constitute a seizure in Smith v Maryland (1979) because the identity of people on...
yea because I do portrait and fashion shoots its hard for me to miss the model doing something when im telling them how to pose. I have shot in rainy/dusty/snowy conditions but for that I use an old film pentax its much easier to clean. Honestly a rebel XT or any of the other low end...
