Mantle is shocking and falls around 20 fps behind AMD's DX11, let alone the 50 fps behind Nvidia's DX11. They have not optimised the Fury X for Mantle and I don't think they will be doing it either. Ohhh and there shouldn't be any colour differences, as the secondary monitor (the capture card)...

Not really if I am honest. Whilst I have a good understanding of the NCP and NVinspector, I can't say I have ever really bothered with individual game settings. If I am benching for Team MLG on the bot, I set the slider to "prefer max performance" and if I am just gaming, I set it to "prefer max...

I did set it back to "let the 3D application decide" and again I had a lowered quality image but as others have said, they don't get it and shown evidence that they don't, I assume it is just a bug my side. I would have to reinstall windows to see if that sorted it but for the sake of my small...

I found that putting the settings to "prefer max quality" made the image the same as the Fury X and this is what I wanted to test. Everything is now apples to apples in my testing and that is the way forward.

I learnt a lesson from all this and that is to check and double check before submitting anything. But pleased to conmfirm that all settings are correct and present. Monitors are calibrated and the NCP is set for "Prefer max quality". Sorry to everyone for my noobness but very new to this...

Guys, sorry for all the confusion but I am quite new to this recording with a capture card malarky but I have it running completely fair and square now. I had problems with the secondary monitor and what settings it was using and on BF4, I had AF not working but now I have the colours set...

Just checking out Anand's testing, and for a 290X coupled with a decent CPU, we are seeing gains of nearly 8%. Now you have to remember that AMD and Dice have put a lot of work into this, so 8% isn't bad and takes the averages up from 71.8 to 77.4. I say thanks and well done. BF4 now...

What drivers are used for Anandtech bench?

I am always interested in bench results and recommend cards from both red and green depending on what the user is after. It is hard to keep up and I fully expect at times that drivers bring much better performance to certain games and this makes it very hard for bench results to maintain any...

What drivers are used for Anandtech bench?

Cheers for the reply. I always noticed that the 680 was faster in BF3 and then the site was overhauled and now the 7970 is the quicker (using Anandtech bench comparison), so I assumed they had rebenched but maybe I was wrong in the first instance.
