Does anyone know if stands from Dell P-series monitors will fit U-series monitors?

Also, I heard from StarTech, which makes MST hubs. MST hubs cannot be daisy chained. So that's out, but as prior post demonstrates, you can create a daisy chain of monitors from a MST hub.
If anyone is wondering, the answer to a related question - can you daisy chain monitors off of a MST hub, the answer is yes.

Intel HD Graphics Control Panel > Audio Settings > Audio Without Video setting. This was ON. Turning it to OFF allows the monitors to enter sleep via Windows 7 Power Options display turnoff setting.
Some digging around in the Intel graphics control panel shows that under Power Management Support, standby mode and suspend mode are "Not Supported". Strange as these are Dell and Asus monitors made in the last 1-2 years.

Just to follow up on this. So I've got 5 monitors running, with 2 on onboard graphics and 3 on the nvidia video card. I borrowed a DisplayLink USB adapter from a friend and was able to add a 6th monitor.

Turns out the Nvidia GeForce GTX 645 will drive 3 monitors, not just 2. So between the Nvidia card and onboard graphics adapter, I can drive 5 monitors. If I want to go to 6 or more, I'll have to start looking into some of the other suggestions.

So the GPU comes with 1gb of video RAM. Seems like BIOS might be inadvertently capping system at 4gb of RAM and since it sees 1gb of video RAM, maybe it's making only 3gb of motherboard installed memory.
Laptop has a pretty old BIOS, so an update might resolve this.

Even if it was using onboard graphics outside of gaming, why the huge discrepancy? The first laptop has onboard graphics and memtest is showing 7988 vs 8gb physically installed memory, so it's spot on.
The first system (8gb RAM) has only onboard graphics.
Second system (4gb RAM, but memtest not showing it all) has a dedicated GPU.
These are both laptops.
Here's a system with 2 x 4gb memory sticks. Memtest shows 7988M of memory, as expected.
Here's a different system with 2 x 2gb memory sticks. Memtest shows 3130M of memory. o_O

I was using the Input setting in the Menu, which basically means hitting one of the buttons to toggle the input. But in a submenu, there's another Input setting, and while it doesn't explicitly say so, this looks to be the default input.

To followup, I ended up upgrading from 6 GB to 16 GB of RAM. It made a huge difference. No more lockups, so the guys who suggested pagefile thrashing were spot on. :thumbsup:

I also moved boot_drive\users\myName\Downloads this way, and that moved fine. There is no longer a Downloads folder in boot_drive\users\myName\.

Blue what? The HDD is from the Dell factory build. Dell had it connected to SATA-0 with a blue cable. I moved that to SATA-1. I installed the SSD on SATA-0 and it happens to be connected with a red cable. Not sure if that answers your question. :confused:
