Girl Ambushed By 7 Cops For Carrying Water Wins $212k From Va. Taxpayers

You'd have to find cops willing to go after cops which means either hiring a special police force that's isolated enough to be resistant to the police fraternity or find a way to disrupt the fraternal trust police have for each other (may have other consequences).

the real reason Israel is destroying Gaza....

Hamas claims Israel advanced 2.4km during the ceasefire. That should really violate the terms.

the real reason Israel is destroying Gaza....

The Israelis "agreed to a cease-fire" but never actually removed their troops or stood down their operations in Gaza. So they didn't actually comply with the cease-fire, just agreed to it. What's that old saying about... something something cries out in pain as he strikes you.

I like it, make sure the payouts come out of the police pension fund FIRST so the old cops nearing retirement make sure to train the young cops to behave.

Palestinian children's show teaches kids to kill all Jews

What makes you think Israel will stop building settlements if the Palestinians stop fighting? That's never been the case in the past. They just stop using bombs and start using bulldozers instead.

Girl Ambushed By 7 Cops For Carrying Water Wins $212k From Va. Taxpayers

That's sort of what happens when you have: 1) A police culture of looking out for your fellow cops even if they are in the wrong (Thin Blue Line) 2) Only hire Internal Affairs Officers who have law enforcement experience and are thus already part of the conspiracy in point 1 3) The only thing...

Palestinian children's show teaches kids to kill all Jews

I'll just leave this here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKzlh9kN4HI Yes Israel was the first to start shit, they've been ethnically cleansing since the British left.

Palestinian children's show teaches kids to kill all Jews

I imagine if he had opened fire the President would order the US ships in the area to stand down and the investigation would have decided it was a case of "mistaken identity" and no Israeli would be punished. See: USS Liberty

What to do about eradicating the Hamas tunnels?

Israel isn't just going to disarm their nukes themselves. What's needed is boycotts of all Israeli products, ideally embargoes similar to what happened to Apartheid South Africa, followed by regime change. Looks unlikely as long as AIPAC owns the US government though. You can start by making...

Has anyone read Rich Dad/Poor Dad?

Feelings are ephemeral and women are fickle. The risk/reward ratio for a wife is simply too high in the West today. Best investment advice if you can't be comfortable on your own salary? :hmm: Be gay.

Has anyone read Rich Dad/Poor Dad?

You shouldn't need a book to tell you that a wife is among the worst liabilities to take on, particularly in the 21st century in the West.

That's not accidental, it's part of Google's master plan. They want people to stop thinking about files being "on your phone" or "on your computer" and start thinking about all your files being "in your cloud". You know, stop looking after your own files, Google will take care of all that...

    Sane use-case for Kaveri?

In fairness, Sapphire and AMD deliberately made the A320 expensive and hard to find so it wouldn't cannibalize low end FirePro sales but at the same time could introduce/test the concept of FirePro APUs in underdeveloped nations such as India and France. No one seems to know what the...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tok_0iJzayE I guess that explains this Solidworks demonstration running on a pitifully underpowered prototype AMD C-50 with Firepro drivers (1.0 GHz dual-core AMD Bobcat). The framerate doesn't look great when he rotates the model but it's surprising it runs...

Back in 2012 AMD released a pair of FirePro versions of its Trinity APUs, the A300 and A320. As far as I can tell these were pretty hard to find in the West, though Sapphire did sell them packaged with a motherboard. Kaveri also will have a pair of FirePro A Series parts: Device ID: 1310...

I have to ask... why? There was a time years and years ago when Asus was second to none (unless ABIT was really trying) but their service department isn't the best and their quality has dropped off over the years. Then they started making their boards a Foxconn instead of Pegatron. IME at...

Please recommend the best HTPC videocard: fanless & low-profile

The same sort of people who walk into Best Buy to purchase a video card and make their buying decision based on how awesome the front of the box looks. There is absolutely no reason a sub-60watt card needs to be a two-slot design.

Please recommend the best HTPC videocard: fanless & low-profile

I don't see any low-profile models at all yet and almost all 750s are two-slot designs. I'm not sure we're going to see any fanless low-profile 750s even though making one should be possible. I wonder if the companies are using excessively large coolers because retail buyers gauge...

Looks like Scrypt mining is fixed in Maxwell

I'm kind of surprised AMD has not announced a monster 600 watt dual Hawaii full length card for $1500. Miners wouldn't care that it doesn't fit in most cases - half of them seem to not even use cases.

Looks like Scrypt mining is fixed in Maxwell

Hence why I said "when the big-core Maxwells arrive". A 265KH/s Maxwell that is $150 is not particularly compelling. A $400 Maxwell that can do 800KH/s at under 200 watts is and a 780ti replacement that can manage 1200KH/s certainly is. But whether or not we will see that is up to nVidia.
