  1. This new EVGA case has blown me away

Yes but I can still have opinions on other products :) Yeah I like the Elite 130 too. But I like the 690 and HAF series even better :D
  2. CM Storm Quick Fire Pro USB issues

You should RMA it, could be the controller as postmark suggested. Let me know if everything works out for you :)
  3. This new EVGA case has blown me away

I like the design of this, but the price is a bit too high to be honest... Sometimes looks and build quality deserve to be paid, but for the same amount of money you could get a full tower. Ah well, depends on the customer and his needs. I'm sure there are potential buyers out there, especially...
  4. Thoughts on modern cases and size

I also prefer ATX cases, just because they are more spacious, hence easier to work with, especially if you are swapping parts all the time (for example RAMs or motherboards for reviews). Doesn't have to be a full tower, roomy midi towers like the 693 or the HAF-XM are perfect as well...
  5. HAF 932 still best for air cooling?

I would go for the HAF XM as well :) The 690 III offers great airflow options too, since it supports up to 9 fans, and both the 200mm and the 120mm fans that are pretty installed, are pretty much dead silent. Solid case for regular builds with up to 2 GPUs imho.
  6. CoolerMaster Case Mod 2013 Competition has started!

For the past couple years, Cooler Master has run an annual Case modding competition which has produced some of the most stunning examples of both professional and amateur PC builds from around the globe. Well... It's that time of the year once again! Starting today, the CoolerMaster Case Mod...
  7. CM 690 III Short Presentation & Build Log

Taking into consideration all the above-mentioned, here are the pros and cons from my point of view Pros - Supports large cpu coolers and long graphics cards - I love the design and generally the looks, especially with the side window installed - USB 3.0 support - 240mm radiator support on...
  8. CM 690 III Short Presentation & Build Log

I think that the TPC600 is not such a famous CPU cooler, but it does the job. I've been operating my 4770K @ 4.5GHz @ 1.21V 24/7 for the past 2 months and the temperatures are great even at full load. Unfortunately here in Greece it costs a lot and it doesn't include a fan in the bundle, so...
  9. CM 690 III Short Presentation & Build Log

Not all people are familiar with Cooler Master cases. Like 3 months ago, someone was asking in a forum how to remove the front panel of his CM case. It's too easy. See these 3 knobs in the right side of the front panel? There are 3 more in parallel on the other side. Start pressing them...
  10. CM 690 III Short Presentation & Build Log

In the bottom side of the 693 there are 4 rubber stands so that the case doesn't slip off and remains still no matter what. Depicted you'll see the bottom dust filter as well, which is easily removable. Apart from that, there are also 2 more dust filters (top/front) for improved system...
  11. CM 690 III Short Presentation & Build Log

You can see the inside of the 690 III. It supports up to 10 SSDs (4 in the removable HDD/SSD combo cage, 1 behind the M/B tray) and 7 HDDs with HDD/SSD combo trays. The HDD/SSD combo cage features a new ODD tool-less design EZ tray for quick SSD/HDD installation, which I've explained thoroughly...
  12. CM 690 III Short Presentation & Build Log

Here is the top compartment in which you can store whatever you want. Just remove the protecting cover and slide it out. There are more than enough front panel ports as well - 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, audio/mic jacks.
  13. CM 690 III Short Presentation & Build Log

And here is the CM 690 III along with the side window. It was shipped from China and the box had a minor bump in the side as you can see in the photos, nothing to worry about though as the case is well protected. In the rear side of the package, CM has listed the main 693 features in various...
  14. CM 690 III Short Presentation & Build Log

Hey everybody! This is not by any means a hardcore modification thread, but still I'd like to take some of your time and do a small presentation of the new CM 690 III. Not too long ago, I had the pleasure to receive the CM 690 III, which is CoolerMaster's latest addition in the...
  15. FX8320 OC, is this normal?

After checking loadline, I'd check if the heatsink mount is perfectly ok :)
  16. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus safe for lga1150?

Kinda late to the party, but yeah don't worry at all, works fine :)
  17. Cooling A i7-3770k Question!

Adding a second fan will definitely help out, but all in all the 212 will cope with the 3770K @ 4.2 just fine. If you want to go completely crazy with the setup and max it out for 24/7 usage, choose the Noctua. You just can't compare these two coolers - they are appealing for different market...
  18. Are these good components for $1500 first build?

I second that ^^ Since we're talking about a gaming system, I can't see why you're not going with the 4670K. Also have you considered choosing a kinda larger cpu cooler? Or you already have the Hyper? It's going to cope with well enough even with the Haswell chip but I'm just curious that you...
  19. New build - feedback needed

As Termie already mentioned the AX850 is enough not just for one, but for two GTX 770s. Hey when you build this, can you tell me your impressions of the Hyper 212 Evo on the 4670K? Since you are looking for an OC friendly motherboard, I suppose you'll try overclocking the 4670K a bit, so I...
  20. Can I fit gtx 780 on cooler master scout case?

All good with your new GTX 780? Don't know if you've received it yet, but it fits without any problems. I've read about people considering GTX 780 SLI on the Scout lol :D ;)
  21. Bringing a 9800GT back from the dead!

From my experience baking actually works sometimes, especially if you've used subzero cooling along with your hardware. In the past I've managed to bring back my beloved Rampage Extreme X48. Sadly she died again like 3 moths after :/
  22. How long have you been "PC" gaming?

Started PC Gaming back in 1998. First games I tried were Fifa 98, World Cup 98, JazzJackRabbit 2, Fifa 99 and Moto Racer.
  23. I've been playing Doom 3 and Quake 1 recently

Wow Quake brings back so much memories. I think I'm not as hardcore as you guys, but last year I played again some Unreal Tournament 2000 - that game was good! :D
  24. New Cooler Master Fan controller survey - help us out!

I had some things to take care of so I was away for like 6 days, but I'm back now :) Again, thanks everyone for the extra feedback. Whatever you mention is summarized in reports and send back to the guys so that they can create a solid product. On Saturday I had some spare time and created a...
  25. New Cooler Master Fan controller survey - help us out!

You're referring to auto profile steps, right? aigomorla's suggestion actually makes sense, I can see where he goes with that. He says that it's better to leave it up to the customer to decide how to power up the fan controller. I'll let the guys know and we'll see how it goes. @aigomorla...
  26. New Cooler Master Fan controller survey - help us out!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer it guys. I'll send the answers back to the team - hopefully we'll create something cool in the future ;) There are no strange requests when it comes to fan controllers. Lots of people dont want just to control the fans, but also have a multipurpose I/O...
  27. New Cooler Master Fan controller survey - help us out!

Hey guys, if it's possible, I'd like to get some feedback from you regarding our upcoming Cooler Master fan controller/function panel. The questions are fairly simple, so please take some time and answer all of them, it will be much appreciated :) http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JK5B5T6...
  28. Hyper 212 EVO Vibration?

I don't think it's potentially bad for the CPU as Jabrono said, but try touching the heatsink to verify the vibration is from there. If it's not something irritating, I'd leave it as it is.
  29. Asus Maximus VI Hero with H100i inside Define R4?

Why aren't you going for the 4770K?
  30. GTX Titan

When considering getting 3 Titans, you shouldnt cut down on expenses PSU-wise. 1000-1200W is what you need, depending on the rest of your system, the overclocking (if any) and of course the element of future upgrades :)
