Calling all Gurus: Windows Vista Ultimate CPU use ALWAYS at 95%!

Yes the SYSTEM IDLE PROCESS under 'processes' shows up in the computer in question and it's teh only computer that has that item showing up under processes out of my 3 computers.

Thanks for the answers. Yes that was a typo. The problem here is using 2 different CPU monitors, the CPU is showing USAGE of 80% when I am doing NOTHING and in the Task manager, the only item showing usage is the SYSTEM IDLE PROCESS. And on my 2 other computers with same OS, when nothing is...

I googled and some say using the 4 pin in the 8pin can cause the 4 pin to melt, things not booting etc. Didn't sound right so thanks for clearing it up! But the 8 pin WILL DELIVER MORE POWER than the 4 pin correct?

What's the best way to clone a hard dive?

I was a ghost user too, that was until I started using Acronis. Hey you don't have to use it, just giving the guy another option, use what you are conmfy with, most are resistant to change, you probably still be using ghost 10 years from now? =)

Well XP is not going to address 4gb either. From using VIsta past 3 weeks, I think Vista as it is right now is better than XP so I see no point of going back to XP quite honestly.

Illegitimate copy of Windows XP Pro to upgrade to Vista

I mean you don't even have to enter the key in Vista it self, it asked you when you boot from CD to install. I got my upgrade VIsta business today and it clearly says you can clean install or Upgrade in the manual that comes with it and my box says UPGRADE.
