Nice, I have the b6 oled. After seeing this though I feel tempted to connect my pc to the tv but will most likely have to go through the hassle of setting it up only to reconnect it back to my monitor in the morning. But one thing is for certain the picture quality is amazing on these sets.
and to add to what you said, at the end of the day we are all humans in the sense that simple things can make someone snap, but the fact he apologized shows he took responsibility for his actions.
Blunty on youtube have the 56 handily beating an overclocked 1070 with ryzen system so with a few mature driver updates it may pull a bit more ahead. Also is the infinity fabric tech(?) working when a vega card is paired with ryzen or is that not currently implemented?
They could have the aforementioned freesync monitor or if past improvements holds water with vega a slightly slower card at present to noticeable faster over time etc
1080 ti as I did not want my monitor to go to waste. Luckily I did not settle for the 1080 a few months prior because i would have lost 30 percent free performance for a similar price.
Let's go AMD prove the naysayers wrong and release a smash hit. I'm team AMD until rx vega releases then I'm back to being a neutral party. I think being competitive with the 1080 is rather good if priced right as the ti might be a bit of stretch until drivers mature. Power consumption might be...
Probably an extra notch down across the board (if vega is more like the 1080), but it also depends on the game. I just started using DSR to get 4k like quality on my 1440p monitor because I'm lazy right now to keep hooking it up to my TV. Also yes its scarier in newer games that are open world...
1080ti does 4k60 pretty well but some settings need to be toned a bit for a solid 60. Rotrr is an example where high setting is a must to maintain 60. Very powerful card, so either you can hold out for vega gaming or just go with the 1080ti but if you can truly wait depending how vega stacks up...
doesn't fire strike factor in cpu score for total overall score though so I think thats a good graphics score. I remain optimistic that the strictly gaming variant will be faster with the same drivers. Lets go AMD "pull a rabbit out of a hat" so to speak.
Only competitive pricing and possible good price to performance can help AMD at this point. Faster than a 1080 or within close proximity of the ti model is a failure in my eyes since we all know the green team most likely has something in the the works to counter. Hope they have some success...
@tential I'm price conscious to a certain degree but after the 10 series came out and amd had nothing to offer I decided to jump ship. Yes I grossly over paid to a degree but only nvidia offered the performance I needed to get the most out of my monitor. All the cards I listed in my original...
gsync or free sync helps but as a person that has a 1080 ti with a gsync monitor the 50 fps is noticeable albeit not as bad as without it. But then again if its not 75 or over fps wise the game does not feel all that smooth. In a racing game it slightly less noticeable though. I went nvidia for...
So why did they say two cards were used? One would think, or I would think that if CF was supposedly not working why did they say two were used. But then again I briefly read somewhere that its a demo of the threadripper performance.
1080 ti if you can spare the extra cash. Quite a few games nowadays are coded poorly so no matter how much power a card may have it still won't be enough to drive at max a few months or a year from now (depends on desired settings though).
Seeing that 4gb vram really hindered the fury cards in certain games the push to 8gb of a supposed superior VRAM tech should help or aleviate any bottlenecks as far as that it concerned. I want it to succeed but since I currently have a gsync monitor I won't be moving away from nvidia for sometime.
its a worthwhile upgrade, we can always wait for the next best thing so my advice to you would be to just get 1080ti as I don't think vega will truly match the 1080ti performance wise but on the other hand the 1080 and 1070 their is a strong chance it will. So if you want the second strongest...
I don't think its much of an epeen or as how I see it is if one has the money to get whatever they desire, why not splurge and get the best. If I had enough money to get all the lastest things that come out that would like to have trust me I would get the best and it would not be to show off...
@Carfax83 1886 was the boost clock started at 1949, 1924, 1911...1886 but I guess the card was running hot so it is possible to drop to like 1835 or so but because I was not running tomb raider for long I can't tell which clock it would have settled at. The 1080 version also had a similar type...
So I exchanged the fe for a a gaming x but while it's definitely quieter performance remains the same. Plus I got another code so now I can redeem for honor even though ubisoft games run like crap. Also im not sure if anyone can help me solve this but whichever card I put in my case runs hot...
so i got the pny and I have to say the blower style fan is not as obnoxiously load as some may make it out to be. Granted aftermarket is more quiet but I cant find any true faults with it, plus it has no coil whine. It heats up pretty fast but since its boost clock is still above its guaranteed...
@sze5003 I don't know to be honest I can tolerate the noise to some extent since I use headphones but the call for an upgrade is really strong since I got the tv. 4k looks so crisp but then when I launch a game and see how native 1440p looks I'm like one I can't play with these black borders and...
Yea I have no desire to put it under water and then when I look at the custom cards they are so huge. Also I don't know but every custom card I have run hotter than they are supposed to but that could be chalked up to using inferior case fans. Then again places like microcenter only has zotac...
Quick question is the founders edition card a good purchase? My main monitor is 1440p but my tv on the other hand is 4k so I'm thinking the extra performance would be worth it over my current 980ti. The founders edition just looks abit more appealing to me but keep in mind I'm well aware of the...
@Carfax83 I totally understand where your coming from since I had to exchange like two asus monitors for the acer predator. Both asus had horrible back light bleed but since i bought them from a local micro center the return and exchange process was fairly simple.
Welcome to the club. But one has to wonder with the specs of your rig (current and previous) I would have thought you already had the monitor to take advantage of such beefy specs along time ago.
