Palm synch with MS Outlook

I have a Palm IIIx and was wondering if it is capable of synchronizing with MS Outlook instead of the Palm software it comes with? I'm used to using Outlook's address book, calender, etc. I've searched around for info but haven't come up with any just yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Does the backup program do compression? I tried w/ W2k Professional and it doesn't seem to compress anything.

What is the cheapest brand nic you recommend for a home lan?

The most widely supported and BEST NIC on the market is the 3com 3C905xx. End of story. We've used those at work for years and have not had a single problem. This is on 300-500 machines.

BTW the error msg is this: STOP: c0000218 {Registry File Failure} The registry cannot load the hive (file): \SystemRoot\System32\Config\SOFTWARE or its log or alternate. It is corrupt, absent, or not writeable

I have a machine here with corrupted registry in Win2k. It will not boot... I get a blue screen saying something along the lines of "Can't read system32\software registry is corrupt" ... Does Win2k automatically save backups of the registry like Win98? In win98 you can just copy...
