I agree getting hooked on Apple is a real thing. All I own is Apple products, from the iPhone 5S, rMBP, Airport Extreme (AC), iPad, Apple TV, even my phone case is Apple. Just can't get enough :)
There is no explanation on how to do this I believe on the web, but what I would do is just backup to an external drive if you have on just to make your life easier.
Just make sure you have another account setup and select the appropriate options in order to sync and move what you want. Its actually very simple. Good Luck!
I have a iPhone 5s as well and I can attest that Touch ID is definitely not what it has been hyped up to be. The thing worked 1 out of 5 times and sometimes you even have to delete the fingerprint and rescan for it to work again. This might be a software issue of it not recognizing it as good...
I would save the money as well Just get an external monitor and run it that way if your just looking for screen real estate. As you mentioned you already have a rMBP and know its definitely capable of this so just get an external and enjoy.
I currently have the Early 2013 15" Retina MacBook Pro 2.7 Quad i7, 16GB RAM, 512 SSD, with the GT 650M. This was the soft release update that Apple did quietly back in February 2013 for a small spec bump and it is honestly more than capable of doing everything I need. I do everything on this...
I know!. Maybe this is an option after all. I personally would never buy a 128GB iPhone as I can even max out the 16 gb version but nonetheless, its still a nice option if it is one.
- You can now disable Control Center while in-app
- The icons that are displayed while a user is in a call have been slightly altered with the addition of circles around the icons. They also appear to be larger.
- New Slide to Power Off
- On/Off Switch for Labels in Accessibility...
Personally I think resetting the SMC might do the trick. I have seen this type of issue in the past and an SMC reset did the trick. Let us know the outcome.
I personally think its awesome. Moving away from the traditional Glass designs while hitting a lower price point for many more consumers will only drive the Apple and App store ecosystem even higher. Not to mention this design incorporates a seamless integration of plastic versus the all...
Just turn it off and let it cool down for a bit before using it again and you should be fine. These phones are designed to turn off before any internal damage or burning occurs.
Thanks for the input. I find that interesting. I understand your logic behind that and it makes sense. However, I typically find my 2.7 quad i7 running around only 10-15 total CPU usage for wow period which includes add-ons. If it is was such a huge CPU intensive game, why wouldn't it use more...
First off, you can upgrade the SSD yourself. Various 3rd party vendors e.g.(OWC) makes a 480GB SSD for the rMBP. All you need to do is disconnect a couple connectors and slide the new one in. Its actually very simple. Everything else though, unfortunately is soldered onto the Logic Board so your...
Fair enough! I will go ahead and purchase then! It seems like its reporting accurate temps in comparison with 2 different programs. SMC Fan Control reports 1 CPU temp and iStat Menus is also reporting the same temperature, so thats a good sign. The iStat Pro Widget also reports GPU and GPU Diode...
Hello everyone. I recently purchased a Retina MacBook Pro (Early 2013) with the 2.7 Quad i7, 16GB RAM, and 512 SSD (SanDisk). I am curious as to how it runs on World of Warcraft. I would really like to know how the expected performance is at Retina Resolution (2880x1800), the expected CPU and...
Hello everyone. I watched to reach out and see what everyones opinion is on the best stat monitor for the 15" Retina MacBook Pro. I mainly am concerned while I am gaming. SMC Fan Control says my CPU hovers around 85-90 celsius with fans around 5k - 6k which is acceptable for this type of...
I just got a chance to take a look at the video and I see what everyone is talking about. Hopefully this is only a minor issue and can be patched up. I personally don't use multiple displays, but I do feel that this is a annoyance.
WWDC 2013 was the best Software show Ive seen from Apple. They finally went for performance and stability over form and new buttons. Mavericks absolutely looks marvelous in beta testing and so does iOS 7. Hopefully they can work out some more beta bugs before the GM release in a couple months.
