Need some help overclocking a 3 titan beauty

Yea, but when i compared the 3d mark results to other 3 titan systems, it seems rather on the low end - if not really low end, so my bet is it's valley being off and that i'm actually at something like 1000 clock boost on pair with the 965 base clock. I've alos found this guide...

Ok think i just realise i completely skipped the difference between base clock and boost clock, thanks a lot for pointing that out :colbert: If i compared to guru3d overclocking guide (http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_titan_overclock_guide,2.html) they reached 1000mhz...

Alright, so i can probably get some better score in 3d mark pushing the base clock speed but what i'm really looking for is the boost clock speed - I won't be benching at all (only gaming)so you guys are saying I should be satisfied by these results? What's up with unigine valley being off...

Hey guys, I just recieved my dream rig today( with mainly 3 watercooled titan a 3970x@4,8ghz 24/7, a 32g dominator 2400mhz Ram@1866mhz (can't get more meh)), and there is a slight disapointement. Company building it told me the 3 titans would be OC'd to 1284 as they get 1284mhz in enigine...

Can get 20 ms on basically every bf3 server in europe i've got 2s brain delay when it comes to reflexes tho, will have to work on that : P

yea, but they used gpus with PCI-E 2.0 for 3960x, and given how much "forcing" 3.0 improved framerate for people with 3930k (and that's with 680's so will be even better with titans i reckon), getting a 3970x was "Worth" the gamble. Either i'm missing something important or making benchs with...

The new u3014 has no input lag, it however has a lot of other issues (I'm urging you to get acquinted with those, especially after reading your first reply), wanted to try 27" before trying 30", and 27 is probably already too big for my eyes. "Real cooling" over the classic wc i have wouldnt...

Dunno, in a lot of the benchs i've seen 3 titans outperform 2, especially at 1440p-1600p I perfectly understands it bother you to see clueless people wasting money like this and i'm sure there will be plenty of responses like yours, i'm fine with at as long as you can help a bit along the way :)

hey, watched benchs here : http://www.anandtech.com/show/6910/origin-genesis-review-triple-titan-terror/4 which is basically going to be my exactly my rig, and benchmarks with a single 1400p and full out on everything isnt EXTRAORDINARY, it may be overkill for now but i doubt i'll be handling...

That screen looks fine thank you very much, I just can't really import thatto france, customs and taxes there make it too much a gamble to import anything, I've seen people pay twice the price of the us price if you added everything they made you pay for the import. : / Gotta stick to EU...

Price isnt an issue up to 1k6$, playing in 1x1080p with 3 titans makes me basically waste 2 cards : P

Doubt even my rig can handle 3x30" for anymore than a year (can find benchs with t 2560*1600 and titan's sli all around, it's not THAT good, can't imagine it working with 3 of those) and I don't have the money for that, i'm limited at what's worth 1k5~1k6$(not that it wouldnt be cool :P) u3014...
