Flash memory stick or external hard drive for backing-up data files?

several years ago, the DVD-R vs DVD+R debate was raging, due to different formats and brand loyalty. however, in 2012, this debate is moot as an modern optical drive will read both formats. basically: use whatever you have and don't worry.

i don't have an external optical, but otherwise, i agree with these statements. basically, optical drives are going extinct just like floppies did a while back.

What do I need to Dual Boot XP & Vista

i use this same method in my dual-boot machine. i find this BIOS/hardware dual-boot concept quicker, easier and more fool-proof than any software based NT-Boot-Loader option. of course, you need 2 HDDs, though with current prices, i can't image that's likely to be an obstacle.

yep... seems that there are "holes" in the ~300/1200 FSB range on these boards. i have this board with an E4300. runs fine at 200/800 default; 266/1064 is sketchy; 290/1160 with some mild tweaks (CPUv +0.05; NB 1.35v; SB 1.60v; FSB VTTv +6% ) will run Orthos fine, but WoW crashes; just...
