Same here. It looks like they are using some third party place that actually picks up Buy.com packages and holds them for few days then ship them with regular US mail. my last order took 11 days and that was shipped from So. Calif to No. Calif. I guess they use mules to carry the packages.
I ordered a few cartridges from this site.
http://www.bulkinkjetcarts.com/
prices where very good and shipping was around $5 for the whole package. Havn't tried them yet.
This deal was borrowed from another board.
I am guessing this is a refurbished board since they have another one with the same part number for $129.

<< The TDK 24X drives are NOT Liteon drives. They are Sanyo drives. If you go to .Cdr Info they have a review there which clearly states that this drive is a Sanyo and not a Liteon. I have the QPS Sanyo rebadge which works great and never burns coasters but will not burn SD2. Just wanted to...
I got the last one ( I was the first one to get it when the doors opened !!!!). 60 bucks for a 24X CDR/W is not a bad deal. I paid $99 after rebate for my 12X about 3 month ago.
<< Sounds like you don't have it on right & the bend in the clip does need to be on center with the CPU core.
Make sure your SK-6 is not hitting the raised portion of the socket.
Toro:) >>
That was the problem. The heat sink was touching the raised portion of the socket , so it wasn?t making...
<< First thing I would try is running the machine with the case open and a fan blowing into it. See what your temps do then. If they go down, you can be sure that is the problem. If not, I would retrace your steps in installation of the heat sink. >>
Well, I have an Antec 635 with an...
I have an retail Athlon 1.4 with the stock HSF. This morning I replaced the stock heat sink with a Thermalright SK-6 heat sink and an 80 mm Enermax Fan. With the stock fan, I was getting 44 degrees idle and 48 to 50 under load. To my surprise, after I switched to the SK-6 the temp jumped to...
<< Perhaps, or the thermal compound needed more of a burn in period.
But it sitting at 70C was too high for stability at 1.4. >>
I think your original heat sink wasn't touching the CPU core completely. 20 degrees difference is too much. The stock heat sink and fan isn't that bad.
With that set up you need to have a 300 Watts PSU. Also for cooling, your case must have a good air circulation ( not just a good CPU fan). After the setup just monitor the CPU temp. If it goes past 52 drgrees then it is time to think of adding more case fans.
<< One way i do it, is fill up a trash big trash bag and time how fast it will fill it up.
GiZzO's Fan Database Page >>
This is a good suggestion but I am not sure if I can get a good estimate. What I am looking for is some kind of formula to plug in the fan size, number of blades and RPM...
Is this stuff better than the Arctic silver ? Arctic Silver's description says that it is Made with 99.8% pure micronized silver. 78% to 82% silver content by weight.
<< Parstron: Whoops, when you check out of newegg after a CPU order, they state you had better get that CPU back in 7 days for an exchange of a new one.........otherwise..... >>
Well the 7 days is probably for DOAs. The web site clearly shows 30 days for the OEM and 3 years for the retail...
Per Neweggs warrantee policy:
"All OEM CPU's carry a limited 30 day warranty.
All Retail packed CPU's carry a 3 year manufacturer warranty and must be serviced by the original manufacture."
If you are not going to overclock, the retail version is a better deal considering you don't...
<< Plextor makes a RePleX. A stand alone cd copier, but it takes a monkey to load the 4 burners every few minutes. >>
I like to get the autoloader ones because we record 200 to 500 CDs at a time.
