Old style here as well.
Edit: Just reading the receipt. Says there is an extended exchange period for "gift" purchases made between Nov. 1 - Dec. 24. Can exchange up to Jan. 31 2008. So if you have problems, maybe try an exchange the card later in Jan. for updated fan models?
The one on sale is a new model that is lower-rez.

Looks like 999 might be MSRP on the 42 incher.
My board came last week, haven't had a chance to install but you could "almost" sell the accessories alone for ~30 (sata/ide/USB headers). Pretty sweet deal. Thanks again OP!
Can anyone PM me with what the ewiz store is? I'm interested in picking one of these up. Swapping directly with Seasonic wouldn't be an issue I don't think.
So the ati 7000 series will run 1680x1050 over DVI? I've been looking for a cheap PCI that will do just that. Oh, and where can you pick one of those up for a mere 15$?
You can change the DPI of any monitor which will keep the resolution the same but increase the size of nearly everything. Check out the settings->advanced->general under Display properties. Might help when you are using a 17" monitor.
Just a thought...
Hey all- now I just purchased this mobo to upgrade from my Neo Plat2 9500 softmod. Wanted some more graphics punch.
Anyway, I'm having a couple problems.
1.I'm getting post code 50 when I have my USB KVM switch and a standard keyboard hooked up. ANyone know what the deal is with that? I...
Why won't this support the full 1080p over the DVI?? I don't see why it wouldn't, but I don't think component has the bandwidth for the 1080p thus the scaling. Get a HDHTPC and have fun.
I have those sony EX51 and I love 'em for travel/on the go. I'm sure they won't sound as good as the Shure but for $25 bucks I think they are great. THey have several different in-ear molds to attach to one is bound to have a tight seal in your ear. They are also pretty compfy..I fall aspleep...
The xbc standard is free. The xbc PRO version costs some cash. They do a good job of leading you to the pro version on that page. Just download the standard version from the download link.
Pro gets you:
Access to pre release versions and features that Non pro users don't receive.

As far as how dell has reacted.
Well, they seem very nice to me. They set up overnight shipping. Plus they are shipping the new one and then I schedule a pickup for the old one. This way, I can set both of them up and look for dead pixels and the "lines". There is always the chance that the...
I have a Sept A00.
I have the brightness issue. No stuck or dead pixels.
I do have the annoying small bars going across the screen. Seems like every pixel row has the bars.
For those of you saying you have no problems, are your images smooth like a CRT monitor or do you see these bars...
Yes you could use this with a car adapter. You could use the headphone out with a cassete adapter or if your deck has a line in, either way.
You could also use a power adapter for this player but i think you'd need a pretty low voltage just match em' up.
Word. I think for what ~9 bucks more, real deal crucial from a pretty reliable vendor is worth it.
No "guesswork" here.
Thanks Slugbait - orderd some up for my new Albastron PX845PEV Pro. Now lets see what my 1.8A can do.
A. There still isn't a good way to backup DVDs without losing quality if they are over 4.7 gigs in size. THere are programs that will move the contents around and others that will slightly compress them,
B. Blue laser is out in Japan but it will cost you Big Bucks!! Toshiba is coming out with...
Where do you see 150 for dual format drives??
This is what I see:
"and US$140-150 for DVD+R/RW drives"
I don't see where they say dual format drives will be that cheap.

What is the real deal?
I have all the Belkin wireless stuff in-house and I'm testing it as we speak. So far the range has been decent - about on-par with the D-Link stuff I have- which uses the same chipset as the SMC...
Hey-
I got the pricematch here in minneapolis @ the richfield store. The guy tried to tell me it was only a 7-12 deal- what a fool. I told him to ring it up anyway and it gave me the 149.99 price and the 50.00 rebate. I also had the guy ring it up as an exchange. It doesn't say PRICEMATCH...

I just did a review of three Taisol heatsinks with different fan configurations.
You can buy them from Nerdsbyte or Direct from Taisol.
I would personally recommend looking at the Taisol CGK742092 with a Delta 30cfm fan. It performed pretty dang well.
Keep in mind- my results were obtained...
Stick with the best- in this case I would recommend Yamaha or Denon. Both are very solid recievers and are consistantly at the top of the average consumer market. I have owned three Yamaha recievers so far and haven't been dissapointed yet. Yamaha reciever have the fastest surrond prossesing...
