Reliable LGA1150 MB under $100?

under 100$ current Asus mobos - 3 B75s, 2 B85s and 1 H77 - all solid - if I were to choose another and didn't need vt-d and had a # of expansion cards and for a desktop - h77 for SB/IVB or h87 - if I were not going to be running 8+ or the equivalent+ Linux distro kernel in Fedora 19+ I would go...

i7 3770k stuck at 1.6ghz (Resolved)

Possible oversight could be in advanced if this BIOS is similar to such mobos as a Sabertooth - under advanced there should be a cpu configuration - set the ratio to auto if it is not already I'd enable EIST / C1E / C6 - disable or auto the rest but no fixed ratio in either base or turbo - /...

B75/B85/x79 such as Asus supports vt-d as well as the Q series Having Asus Bx5, Q and x79 ESXi lab boxes they work similarly passing such devices as SB sound cards through... The trick with vt-d in such platforms as ESXi is where and how your device is connected - i.e.) pass a PCI sound card...

Intel i7 2600K possible problem ?

I'd try resetting power options first - start with a default high performance profile as it seems there was no prior BIOS molestation... next would be revert back / update to prior video card drivers if AMD or NVidia as this detail was not mentioned in the OP / verify these do not change power...

I have not found a utility either but for the 2 Z87 boards I use with esxi 5.1 su1 (apply similar to all my dev esxi / hyper-v boxes from X58, B75, H77, Q77, H67, Z77 to Z87) - set in bios EIST C1 enabled / C6 report enabled others disabled / package Cstate to C0/1 - power management to balanced...

CPU clock multiplier topping out at 40 under stress

base clock but I've experienced randomn mem errors anything past 102ish and personally leave it at auto... For non-k in my experience to get max turbo - C state settings must be: C1E on C3 report off C6 report on C package off - example an i5-2500 with only C1E enabled - max turbo is 3.5, 99%...
