5930k core temperature

I always look for a Displayport since I have 5 monitors that support it. It has lots of (underused, especially with integrated video) bandwidth. Still, I always look for it. I never use VGA, have an old VGA monitor on a shelf. But I do understand why it is still included - the minute it is not...

Ridiculous markups for integrated adapters aside, non-integrated adapters are probably way over-rated. You buy them for an old motherboard that does not have them, sure. And by the time you get a new motherboard, they are obsolete. Remember the new firewire, the new usb? (remember SCSI :P )

Haven't had a mother board in the past 7 years treat all usb ports equal.

I have always hated USB. Sometimes it is a Gigabyte or other 'bonus' controller, sometimes a loose cable/header, sometimes it the the device manufacturer who cheaps out, etc. How many versions of USB are there?

My advice is give yourself more headroom. You just don't know the strain on all your components you may be causing over time, even though on paper is should be OK. Overclocked CPU and 2 overclocked cards that are going to have fans running at full speed, plus who knows what else can be going on...
