Don't get a gt 720 it's pretty [crap]. I have a quadro k610m which is comparable in spec(192cores,64bit bus,1 gig gddr5) and it struggles to play games at 1080p at the lowest settings.

I don't think it's Asrock fault that the motherboard behaved the way it did. I just put a really crappy gtx 480 in it. In retrospect the bulking capacitors on the gtx 480 were a obvious sign that something wasn't alright.
Everything seems to work fine. I think the bare copper wire is the ground of the motherboard since it connects with the screws. I think my gtx 480 short circuited my ground. Becuase alot of current went through it it became very hot which fried my top part of my mobo. Anyway that's my theory.

We all know that intels pentium 4 were designed for higher clockspeeds then they reached. The max that intel could get of the pentium was 3,2 ghz because off heat constraints. My question is: could these cpu really reach 10 ghz if there made on the latest process node from intel?
What about a more recent upgrade. I upgraded from an amd hd 4650 to an nvidia gtx 660ti. From barely playeble bf3 at 1280*720 to be able to max it out on 1920*1080. How's that for a upgrade:)
You know what it is I have a msi p55-gd80. Visually it would have fit perfectly with my motherboard. But hey I am happy it leaps and bounds better then what I have currently. (an amd x1650 pro)
Thanks for all the advice guys. Sadly the model gtx 660 ti that i wanted to buy was sold out. I was just too late. There were only two left and there were three orders in five minutes. Sadly I was the last one. :( So i bought the reference gtx 660 ti model from msi for 165 euros.
I took a closer at this particular model and this card has the reference cooler of a gtx 560 ti!!! I don't know why nvidia even allowed this card to be launched.
