I agree, overall it was a fun to be back in Risen hand crafted world, with all of its humor and tone of gnomes :D Now its time to finish it with another faction :)

Hmm, a typical Risen game. A bit to much pirate theme, but ok. And Guardian spells are like water and fire bending (Avatar) :P

As it looks from a youtube preview (in German) :) it looks pretty nice... more then nice :P Gnomes are back in town.. so we will surely find Jaffar again. But i think it goes back to the Risen 1 and Gothic theme... less piraty

Are we ever gonna get another space sim?

Another interesting option is on the horizon. Last night I downloaded Starpoint Gemini 2 alpha version from Steam early access. For a game that is still very uncomplete, this thing seems brilliant! To me it looks like a hybrid of Freelancer and X. Very very nice. And for 18.99 you get alpha SPG2...

Space genre has been rather quiet for a long time. Occasional appearances of games like X series, Eve online and similar succeeded to keep it alive. Lately however, a number of spectacular announcements came out proving space is back in a big way. At last great new games are coming, legendary...

It is fortunate this year will be finally a good one for space gamers. New X will likely hit the stores this year, and so far materials from Starpoint Gemini 2 look amazing as well

Very small number of quality games arrived it this genre lately. Last one I played were Freelancer (some ten years ago) and X games, and from all the others Starpoint Gemini was the only one actually worth my time

Level of knowledge is indeed needed, but that is truly not extensive these days. If you can master a simple smartphone, modern windows are not more demanding then that
