How to tell Winxp see's dual core

I will install patches, task manager shows two graphs so i think iam good, i just dont understand why cpu-z doesnt show both cores, it says there are two of them... justageek thanks i will install those

quick run down. 2 servers hooked to switch one then cable either regular or crossover going down hall to computer lab down the hall to be able to access servers.

Tried searching couldnt find anything...i just got two new trendent switches 24 port. i want to connect them together. one in one room and another down the hall. do i need a crossover cable to do this. the box says that you dont and the booklet had no information. they are brand new switches...

thanks for the help so far guys/gals..never sure... i tried this morning to use my laptop and connect but still nothing...ill try a new cable tonight and then if not get an rma number...its weird how i can get the wireless to work and not the wired....i know

i would pull each card at a time however the stupid mobo has everything intergrated on. i guess i can try pulling one of my sdram to see that is the problem.

wierd problem regarding dma and cdrw

i have a tdk 12x10x32 cdrw that when i select dma in the control panel it will not burn when i put it in pio mode it burns at 12x everywhere i see i should have dma checked but it doesnt work. i have a dfi socket 370mobo with 226mb of ram and a 466@525 celery. My question is why?

dual booting of two separate drives....this has to be easier..

I have the exact same setup win2k c: and 98se d: both active and i set up 98 after win2k all you need to do is load your win2k cdrom then it puts a couple of files needed for setup then a screen comes up to repair just repair(it will do automatically) then it will detect the se and boot the boot...
