7700k running too hot!

Hi guys, so I just unpacked my i7-7700k and the temps have been all over the place. I have a corsair H55 Cpu cooler which is quite a bit old, but on that a little bit later. The temps have been 42-43 degrees idle (ambient temperature 34 degrees), and under load of GTA V, without a GPU upto 80...

You're right, and the reviewer has addressed the concern on the last page of his review. The findings of the 980TI are rather odd. They will re-test the card.

Hi Det0x, thanks for your reply man. Bro I checked if I was using Dx-12 but I was on Dx-11. Does that make a difference? I did feel my ram might have been the limiting factor, but apparently BF1 was using approx 2.8GB of ram and I had like 1.5Gb still available. You sure this is a RAM problem...

Is anybody else facing some MASSIVE FPS drops in BF1? My FPS drops from 104 to 90, then 104 to 60 then back. Specs: i7-4790k 8gb ram 1866 GTX 1070 The gpu barely uses more than 3.5gb vram. Any comments?

Edit: as soon as I decrease ratio to 41 which I'm guessing is the multiplier, they go down to 72 max.

I reset my bios to optimised, and turbo boost came on. Although now with prime 95 temps go as high as 80, whereas previously they would max at 70-75. I'm using a corsair H55 cpu cooler. Is this worrisome? Edit: as soon as I decrease ratio to 41 which I'm guessing is the multiplier, they go...

Guys thank you so much for the help! I had power options to High performance, put it back to balance and its back to normal. Now I have another issue, my turbo boost isn't coming on when i run prime95. It maxes at 4 Ghz. I'm using various software's to view frequency, Aisuite 3, Real Temp...

bf4 settings help

I have an i5 3570k with gigabyte gtx 770 and I get min between 57-60 with everything cranked up. Everything is stock. I don't think he'll need to lower his settings much, just maybe msaa to 2x or lower. In addition, I have adaptive sync on so I can't comment on what's average. It stays at 60...

Performance drops during gaming!

Ram usage goes to 3.2 of 3.9 usable memory during gaming. And my resolution is pretty low, 1440 x 900!

How is intel haswell 4600 graphics vs mid range cards?

Definitely not recommended for current gen games in my opinion. If you are into light gaming, you should seriously consider a 750ti with the board. It doesn't require a 6pin connector and draws power from the mobos PCI-e slot. Quite a viable option.
