    That is a very normal traceroute. The row of astericks in the middle mean that device does not respond to ICMP. The lines of Astericks at the end intimate that you have reached the last WAN hop, which also does not respond to ICMP

    To be honest, I'd recommend you go into discussion with the ISP. They could probably provide a solution which would enable failover to a backup circuit should the primary fail. I would imagine they would use 'tracking' or get funky with BGP to accomplish this. If you wanted to do this yourself...

    It's been getting good reviews. Has been tested as the fastest wireless router by some sites. I'd say it would be better than the Linksys for gaming as it has a faster CPU. Could make the difference if you are multi-tasking. Then again, depending on your usage, it may make no difference at all.
