Wow can't believe how snappy My Old POS pc is with a New CPU!

Sid Mier's Pirates is basically the most fun game ever ever ever like ever. Its a shame it doesn't support widescreen resolutions though or i'd play it alot more. Hopefully it will get an "HD" update in the future.

Worthy upgrade from 2600k yet?

I have an i5-2500k running at 4.3 and I just up'd my GTX 580 to an EVGA 780 SC ACX. I'm very happy with my decesion so far. I can't see any reasonable arguement for me changing my CPU anytime soon.

I personally have a Samsung 840 Evo SSD, trust me I know the benefit of having one, but I think its a decesion that has to be made on a case by case basis. Not everyone needs one, some users would be better served using a traditional drive to save money.

No HDMI signal... driving me nuts..

I have an Onkyo 605 that works great, but when i tried to upgrade to a 616 last year I coudln't get it to handle my PC output either, I think newer Onkyo stuff has horrible issues working with HTPC's. I don't think there is a solution for you other than to send that receiver back like I did...

The Microsoft Sidewinder X4 is an excellent keyboard for the money. I've had mine for almost 2 years and love it. Gives me the backlighting i need and the macro programming on the side buttons is easy to do if you need. It's a good value for the money...
