Metro interface is just retarded for desktop usage and they insist on forcing it to their customers. We have to use 3rd parties application to make it "work" like we want it to. Just dumb. I wish we would have more mainstream OS to choose from. One can dream.
No matter how good their drives are, I'm boycotting Samsung. Their RMA are a joke. Bad warranty support, no money from me. I hope more people would do the same so they could understand the message.
Had the same issue back in the day. I've been using a Steelseries QCK Heavy (0.6mm height) for the past 6 years (the same one!). It offers plenty of cushion for your wrist and its a very good quality mousepad with my MX518. Pure win. You can get the heavy normal size for ~12US or so I think...
AMD FX-8320
Asus GTX 660 OC 2GB
G.Skill 2x4GB DDR3 1600mhz
Crucial M500 120GB SSD
ATX case with 2x120mm LED fans
24x SATA DVD Drive
small OC to ~ FX-8350 level or so
I've used a few different psu calculator but they seem to vary. Some says 500w and others 600w
My choices for a new...
Seriously if you want a quality modular PSU for your needs, you'll have to pay a bit more unless there's a special hot deal somewhere. You could always buy a used one on the forum though or craiglist/classified
If you can afford, get as much ram as possible. 16GB is a good amount but 32GB+ is excellent for RAM drive. It truly boosts performance a lot. However if you don't use a RAM drive with that amount then yes, it's excessive but there is no reason not to use one.
I need a new monitor soon but with all these new technology coming in '14 it's getting hard to choose. Probably gonna be easier to make a decision once we see the prices lol.
Honestly for your budget I would try to buy a used card. Do you have online classified in your region like craigslist etc.? You could score a gtx 660ti or radeon 7850 2GB for cheap maybe
A friend had very high temp with a FX-6300 recently. We removed the stock heatsink and there was barely any left from the stock paste. New TIM fixed the issue of course. Might be worth checking
