Really weird problem

Thanks for the suggestions. wpshooter, it is spyware free for sure since I formatted it. Since I formatted, ther is no NIC SW. I tried with one stick only, and the memory is good for sure as it works fine in safe mode and while installing Windows. Anyway, I am trying with another...

Really weird problem

Well, Hard drive integrity is OK for I can access it perfectly in Safe mode. I use the mainboard onboard ethernet controller, and I changed motherboard mainly because of that. Other ideas?

Need desperate help...

I saw that happeniong because of a bad motherboard, some subsystem went nuts and responded aggressively to Win trying to set it up - I think it was the network, I'm not sure.

875 & Sysmark 2002

Well, usually sysmark fails photoshop script near the end. Says something like the program exited before it was supposed to. I don't have the error code here, I'll post it later. Happens to me with: ABIT IC7-G Albatron 865PE ProII Aopen AX4C QDI P4I865PA Latest BIOSes openly availabe...

Computer auto shuts down before POST

It's just regular RDR RAM, PC150 CAS 2. It's running at PC133 CAS2. I hace a Duron, 700@1000, and it's pretty well cooled. No doubt on that. What I do not get is why after a bunch of tries it boots up and works just fine.....

Just an idea, but could be because Windows changes the drive letters. also, WinXP does not automatically shows up ned drives. Finally, make sure the slave drive is not compressed.

Thanks. The mobo is ok ( it works after abunch of tries). The ram modules seem to be ok, I use them with no particular problem, but I will try to use only one. I tried to upper and lower Vcore and I/O voltage, it has no effect. The fan is on the right header. Still trying to figure it out...

Hi to all. What's the top FSB you got this board stable at? I am wandering if it would be worth getting one (from a friend, cheap) to use with a P4 1.6A, but i need to know how much I can bump it. Have you ever had one/ do you know how good it O/C?

EXE assocition changed

Hi. My dad's computer got infectd by a virus. I removed it with Norton Antivurus, but now all the .exe files are set to open with an application called SIRC32.exe, part of the virus i guess. I can't change it with Explorer, it doesn't let me. And I can't use regedit either, it's an exe. So how...

Best way is to export files from outlook express to outlook, then to a file. Burn a cd with that file, the other you need and format the HDD

What is the best performing heatsink without an anoyying delta black label on it?

Taisols are good but require at least the low profile delta fan. A lower airflow fan would be really inefficient due the fin design. Take a look at the CoolerMaster EP5-6I11.
